Fairy Bower Pool, Manly - Destination NSW

1. Ocean pools of Sydney

From Bronte Baths to Fairy Bower Pool in Manly, down to the Mermaid Pools on the Bargo River, New South Wales is blessed with some of the most magnificent ocean baths and rock pools in the word.
Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay. Mark Fitzpatrick. Destination NSW

2. Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay

Hyams Beach is in the Guinness Book of Records for having the whitest sand in the world, and the area is simply stunning. To see it is to believe it. There is a gorgeous little local café just off the beach called Hyams Beach Store and Café, well worth a visit for brunch or dinner.
Views across Jamison Valley - Destination NSW

3. Sublime Point, Leura

Sublime Point offers the most breathtaking views of the Jamison Valley. From Sublime Point you can see the Cliff of Kings, the Three Sisters and the sleeping giant of Mount Solitary. The Blue Mountains are a national treasure which are worth visiting time and time again.

4. Hunter Valley

The Semillon and Shiraz wines of the Hunter Valley are world famous for a reason. What more can I say? I often visit the Hunter for a 3 day break with family and friends - making the most of the warm cellar-door hospitality and abundance of restaurants and cafes embracing the true 'pasture to plate' ethos of cooking.

5. Wategoes Beach, Byron Bay

Possibly one of my favourite beaches in Australia, only a short drive from central Byron Bay. Peaceful and sheltered, it is a fantastic place for families to spend the day with a picnic, laze and bathe.

6. Crescent Head, Macleay Valley Coast

A beautiful spot to recharge. It is no wonder Crescent Head is popular with surfers, the point break here is known for being one of longest rides in Australia. It's quaint charm and friendly locals, not to mention the beautiful hinterland, make it a winning destination for me.
Mudgee - Destination NSW

7. Mudgee

The character and old-world charm of Mudgee places it firmly onto my 7 wonders of New South Wales list. Mudgee has great restaurants and is surrounded by national park, wineries and wilderness.
