The hotel is right st the transition between Copacabana and Ipanema. The staff is friendly and attentive. The rooms were sizeable enough for a couple. Our room had a balcony, which was great for starting your day. Beach access is a block away and many different restaurants are a few minutes walk from hotel. Recommend.

My original room 850 had no hot water, radio wasn't working, the alarm clock was missing and was quite noisy but when I raised the subject with the reception I was changed to room 850 which was more like the quality I received on numerous previous visits

I had a wonderful experience at the Fairmont Copacabana! Check in was fast quick and I was even able to check in early. The room was well appointed and very comfortable, and the view was outstanding!!! The pool areas are absolutely lovely and so relaxing. The beach club is just a quick walk across the street and has comfortable loungers and towel service. The hotel breakfast was delicious. Look forward to returning!
