We really enjoyed all the staff from the front desk to the cleaning crews. Everyone was really helpful and ensuring we had a great stay. Contrarily to the booking info the rooms had no air conditioning and when we arrived we mentioned it to the front desk and found us an alternate room the following day since the room was too hot (over 25 Celsius) The heat was compounded by the room being exposed to the sun all day and having only one small window (that had to be closed at night because of the street noise) So overall a satisfying stay

Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Perhaps you would put hair conditioner and body lotion in the bathroom? We would recommend Mercure hotels to our friends.

Well located right next to the Palais de Papes in the centre of Avignon. Lots of restaurants out the front and a short walk to the shops. We were upgraded to a Privilege Room which was very nice. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Avignon.

This Mercure is in a perfect location, adjacent to the Palais de Papes. Plenty of parking close by and only a short walk away. Breakfast is simple, breads, pastries, fresh fruit, hot eggs and bacon etc. The rooms are well presented and accessible by stairs or elevators. Great staff to help with local queries.
