The check-in process was quick. The staff at the reception is friendly. Room cleaning is good, bed linen is clean, mattresses and pillows are comfortable. The climate control system worked satisfactorily for the warm weather of April. But in summer time, quite possibly, it will not be enough. It is impossible to balance the temperature by opening the window because of the noise from the railroad. Downsides: - The hotel information channel on the TV did not work. - Very worn out bath towels

Room A/C did not work, even after changing rooms. Shower stall door also does not close properly, resulting in the floor getting wet after each use.

Staff very pleasant and obliging. Front tower rooms are more like very cheap backpacker rooms (very, very small) After a request to be moved, we found The back tower more pleasant and much better for twin bed's…disappointed NOT able to use my ALL members card

Main advantage is it’s close to Amsterdam Centraal. Otherwise it’s like staying in Times Square. I was unable to check in at 2pm (check in time is 3) which is fine except that I think they said this to everyone so there was a huge line at 3. The only place to store bags while you wait to check in is a dirty unsupervised room on one of the higher floors. Payment is due at check in rather than check out (not just a credit card hold, they actually charge you before you stay even on a flexible reservation). Layout of the hotel is extremely confusing. Rooms seemed clean enough but I would probably avoid, especially on a weekend. Stay slightly further out where it is nicer and take the excellent subway into the center city or walk.
