The staff is very kind but there were some minor problems such as: - the cleaning lady had not changed my bed sheets until I notified reception about it. - the breakfast time ends too early and it is always the same menu. - there are no big towles to use only one size. I hope the management will correct those issues.

We booked a family room and checked in online to save time on arrival. However, on arrival at 6pm we were told there wasn't a room available yet. Half an hour later, they had found a room. It was very small with a tiny bathroom. Despite being a family room there was no bath (shower only) so not ideal when trying to bath young children. We subsequently asked for a room with a bath and were told none of the rooms had baths. Regarding the bathroom itself, there was no extractor fan, just a whole in the wall where I assume they are planning to fit a fan at some point in the future. The perspex shower guard had a hole in each door where you would expect to see the door knob/handle. Consequently, the bathroom was flooded after taking a shower until we resorted to stuffing paper in the holes. On the plus side, the rooms were clean and, being on the top floor, we had a nice view over the city out towards the sea. It was also very conveniently located right beside Nice Ville station, which was very handy for train trips out with young children. It was also competitively priced, although we didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we thought it wasn't great value for the money. All in all we would consider staying here again with young children given the location.

Overall very good however when we booked we were unaware of the renovations taking place and consequently couldn’t access the pool

The location of the hotel is well placed. With way access to the train station and an easy walk into the main city and beach, makes this a great hotel. The staff was excellent and had no problem communicating in English. However, do be aware there seems to be no stair access (except emergency use) for general use to the rooms, this may be an issue if lifts are not preferred
