We stayed overnight prior to joining a cruise ship. Check in went smoothly, the staff were lovely and worked very hard covering the reception, bar and restaurant it appeared. Our room was basic, clean and satisfactory for an overnight stay. It was difficult to find somewhere close by for dinner , we tried TGI’s close by but had a 50 min wait. We went back to the hotel restaurant, which was a mistake. We waited an hour or more for food which was basic and overpriced, I felt sorry for the few staff available who were trying so hard to serve a coach party as well. The staff were lovely and apologetic , the food okay! I would stay here again if in the area, mainly for its convenience and lovely staff. I would try and source some where else to eat .

Stayed overnight before a 7 day cruise. Car parking was included for 8 days, which made this very good value for money.

Stay was fine staff friendly .The rooms are basic and the hotel is a bit dated. Fine for 1 night wouldn't want to stay any longer. There was commotion early morning from someone who wasn't allowed in . Obvious that they take in.those who are Inbetween homes which is fine but paying guests should be made aware before they book . On a plus side the breakfast was freshly cooked and enough varity.
