We stayed there with all my family, booked 5 rooms. Very family and child friendly. However, there was mould in the showers. Fridges were barely cold, and my room 315 fridge was not working at all, causing my big tub of Mungally yoghurt (which I so look forward to buying when we stay in Cairns) was runny and not cold, so I had to go buy another one. Once I reported fridge to Reception, they were very prompt in replacing it, and thank you for that. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The room was in average to poor state with old uneven tiles in the bathroom and decor from the 1980’s. Not much for the rate charging. In addition, I could hear the sexual activities and conversations of the people next door. Considering that it was business booking through Concur probably I should be accommodated in “ not adjoining” room. I could not sleep for 2 nights and have to work all day.

We had a family stay for 9 nights as return guests (4th visit) and we absolutely loved it. The pool has been renovated since our last stay and the staff were great. The kids activities are always a great touch during the holidays and they did not disappoint. Deb was continuing in her role running this, but Xander was a fantastic addition with his happiness and enthusiasm for his job shining through. The kids adored him and he really was a fabulous member of the team. We also had great service from Marisa, Tomoyo, Maxii, Melanie, Rob, Melena (excuse the spelling!) to name but a few. Seeing some of the same faces from previous visits was really nice too and I feel must be testament to how much the staff enjoy working there. Meals were always good, rooms could have been cleaned a bit better (upon moving beds to get something the kids dropped it looked like deep cleaning hadn't happened for a while), but overall a very enjoyable stay :)
