We stayed at this hotel for our 37th wedding anniversary and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. On arrival we were greeted by the concierge (Kalim) and were shown to reception where we were given a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite and a bottle of bubbles. The room was large, clean and tidy and the bed was huge and super comfy. We had guests in the afternoon and the manager Anastasia was very helpful. The breakfast was comfortable and the food superb. All in all a wonderful time and Anja checked us out with a smile. This isn’t the cheapest hotel in Auckland to stay at but the service and the staff are wonderful. Memories remain long after price is forgotten. Thank you for ours.

Blocked sink, air conditioning- room hot, request to message and wine for friends on their arrival wasn't done

Whilst the hotel is very nice we expected a little more from a 5 star hotel. Our room was clean but road noise was awful. Being woken by cars driving over a pothole throughout the night and a waste management truck collecting the hotels glass bottles at 4am outside our window, even though we were on the 6th floor. We booked primarily as a family stay because of pool and hot tub but found the hot tub drained for maintenance and the pool like warm. On check out we were not asked about our satisfaction and left our keys for valet to bring our car up. After some waiting in the lobby a valet came and asked us if we were waiting on something and we said our car they then found our keys in a side desk with note scribbled being car ASAP.

Our car was left with hotel staff to park for the two day stay. After leaving the hotel i noticed damage to right rear wheel. A staff member had clearly cut a corner and the tyre and rim have made heavy contact with concrete with yellow markings. Disappointed that whoever did this did not own it and put their hand up. This is now taking our time to fill out forms and then getting asked to fill out the form which have done and sent- communication on this is very poor both between staff and to us. I as a very loyal Accor member feel this is really bad and will be seeking compensation
