I booked the room at Mercure Orange many months ago and thought I had cancelled it as I no longer needed to stay. I had absolutely no communication from the hotel until the night of the actual booking when they rang my wife (why/how?) to ask where I was. She told them I wasn’t staying. Nonetheless they still charged me for two nights and haven’t responded to my email requesting they apply some lenience and provide a refund.
