Check in process took 45 minutes due to long guest queue at reception at 1am to 2am (Wed 08May24)

Check-in process was incredible slow. Several interstate flights arrive around 12:30am. I flew in from Melbourne. Approximately 20 guests were queued at reception, the line extended from the reception desk onto the roadway. Check in was taking between 4 minutes and 8 minutes per person. The two staff members on reception were under great stress. It appears the computer system/process was the cause of the delay. I waited until 2:15am before I was walking to my room for a short sleep before a 6am departure to catch my next flight. Reception needs a faster process and more reception staff to cope with number of guest check-ins from early morning flight arrivals. Courtesy bus from airport was a good service.

Poor changes to Mecure

Sad to see the new changes at Mecure. Payment for parking $20 , locked gates, friends of guests unable to swim in pool if having lunch yet the rooms remain basic. Prices for food and beverages extremely high. I have stayed here for business for years but will now be looking to stay elsewhere
