We arrived at reception desk for an early check-in. There is a dedicated desk for ALL or Accor plus members of any status silver and higher. We had already been greeted before we made it to the check-in counter. Check-in was very smooth and friendly and the status level is acknowledged directly, including notification of the room upgrade. Drink vouchers and a welcome letter were presented and the drink vouchers could be used at the lobby bar or the poolside bar. We opted to have what turned out to be rather nice cocktails at the poolside bar, which we enjoyed in the cabana while taking a quick afternoon swim. For me, I appreciated the room upgrade and the cocktails - this is part of the perks of the ALL status and you felt your status level was acknowledged. In the room, the standout for me was the bathroom. Sliding doors open onto a generous space with a large tub which plenty of lush accessories - even bath salts. You can pay extra to have someone come up from the spa and draw your bath according a "bath menu" (The bath drawn up with fragrances, oils and bath salts is 99myr, add an extra 18 for a hot chocolate). The focus of afternoon tea is rather more on the tea side than that of the snacks. Don't expect scones - although there were little sandwiches - 3 varieties (one vegetarian) along with a delicious selection of "kuih" a local sweet - not to be missed, and a good amount of fresh fruits. Nuts and other nibbles were available. I found the drinks menu to be generous and the service at the club was very attentive. You drink is always full if you wish. The evening cocktails was from 5pm - 7pm. The food was really spectacular. For meat-eaters there appeared to be a whole leg of lamb along with fresh seafood. One evening there were large (possibly tiger) prawns and the next with fresh oysters. For the vegetarians there was enough to get by but nothing especially catered for. (Many lounges will ask about dietary requirements, but not here - we survived that very well as there was such a large variety). There was also a selection of 3 cheeses, including one very soft blue cheese which paired well with the strong Australian Shiraz I chose from the options of 4 red or 4 white. There was a variety of fresh breads and loads of pickles and anti-pesto. You felt very welcome to enjoy a leisurely 2 hours and the glass was well looked after. Cocktails were also made to a very high standard. There are also mocktails and fresh squeezed juices as well. I have to say, we were impressed and satisfied by the evening cocktail hour. The afternoon tea is a little repetitive the next day but the cocktail hour felt very varied. It was a very lovely and relaxed atmosphere. The club has restricted hours - this is advertised clearly on the app, so we were well aware they open only the next morning at noon. Personally I loved the breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, and the first morning it was a highlight of the stay. As expected in a 5* establishment, the coffee is made for you and bought to the table. There was a good selection of Nespresso, from decaf through to low, mid and high strength coffees. There were several fresh cooking areas including an egg station, a noodle station and an exception Indian station (all vegetarian there) with fresh Paratha being cooked (by a French chef - that was.a first for me!). There was a large salad bar, a fresh juice bar, (celery/beetroot/pineapple/orange etc); a charcuterie area with freshly sliced salamis, and a giant honey comb. I've never seen so many pots of infused honeys! There was a pot with honey being infused by cinnamon bark, by star anise, by chili, I can't remember all of the infusions, but it was impressive. For the kids - the waffles are highly recommended, and on one morning were flavoured by pandan "the flavour of Malaysia". There were also Chinese and Malay areas along with an abundance of fresh fruits, including the usuals from this part of the world, but also including top quality rambutan, mangosteen and dragon fruit. There were french pastries, English full breakfast and Turkish pan fired eggs along with 3 varieties of hummus. There really was just so much variety, and all fresh, top-quality stuff. The restaurant manager was very attentive and checked around the entire place and all guests. It was clear that some staff had plenty of experience and some were trainees. The pool was never too crowded for us. We were lucky to get a Cabana each time. It was a free form pool and with soft music from the poolside bar - it was a very relaxed vibe and yet another thing we loved about our stay. We didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped and is open 24 hours. TV channels in English included AXN, several sports channels, movie channels, Nickelodeon. There was a Nespresso machine in the room. For us, everything was perfect. It was very calm, as it's not in KLCC - and that's what we were looking for. I think you can tell from my review - we'll return.

There were bunch of hair in shower drain and water pressure was very bad

I stay here regularly now. While on this trip there wasn’t anything to comment on, on my last trip I wish to commend the team at the coffee house. They are closed as it’s Ramadhan and they are only open in the evening. I needed help and they came to the fore. Helped me and I was thankful
