Stayed in many Mercures and I think this one was a little lacking. The room seemed bare. Check in was slow though the receptionist was very kind and pleasant. Late check out was a nice touch. I was disappointed however that I was charged for a second adult. I received a visitor during lunchtime and was told if the person was to spend more than 15mins in my room there would be a charge. We were preparing for a presentation while having lunch in my room. She did not stay overnight, nor had breakfast. It was embarrassing and rather than raise an issue I paid the extra fee which was over 1/3 the price of the original booking.
