Slightly disappointed by the location, as expected the hotel to be in a more rural setting, but we did actually have a room overlooking open countryside. Room was fine, though no frills, food was good quality, but what made it special was the attentiveness of staff, particularly Mert, at the bar, and Spencer in the restaurant. Both really helped my friend's birthday go with a zing!

We are located on the edge of Willerby a lovely village which itself is just outside of Hull so not rural but at the same time surrounded by farmland on one side and Waitrose and other shops on the other. Fortunately all our rooms overlook the fields and countryside and our gardens are surrounded by mature woodland which makes us a lovely haven from busy city life. Best wishes David

Hotel is OK. The wifi is terrible. With many us in the hotel and all working for a technology company the wifi was simply not able to cope. It was unseasonably cold for late April and my room was quite cold overnight. There were no instructions in the room on how to adjust the temperature of the heater which never came on. The shower pressure is also bad even by hotel standards. However the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was nice. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Perfect location for a family cremation service and wake held in the hotel. The staff at reception, especially Jeffery, were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff were obliging when we had to delay our meal, we asked the chef for his linguine recipe as it was delicious.

The staff makes the place! My mother passed away and I came from the states to sort her effects. Jeff, Damian, Michael, Linda, Nikki, among the others were all thoughtful, kind and attentive to all of my needs, and warm and friendly when it was most needed. Thank you for bringing them on, and please make sure you do your best to reward and retain them. It’s difficult to create a cohesive team, and they more than surpass all expectations.
