The Hotel is in a central location, you can walk to everywhere in Liverpool. The staff were very good and answered all our queries. The hotel is is in a very safe area. The room was spacious and had tea/coffee, hairdryer, ironing board, iron and it was spotless. We had breakfast and it was superb. We would have no hesitation in staying in the Ibis style hotel in the future.

The hotel is in a great position, the staff were helpful, interiors stylish and the breakfast was lovely! The subsidised parking is confusing, it cost us extra because it took us more than 20minutes to realise we’d parked in the wrong one (it’s the car park next door but one and not next door to the hotel) The room was small, clean and functional, but there was a lack of sockets next to the bed? The view from the window was of 4 high walls and a flat roof, we were there very briefly but I’d imagine it might be a bit claustrophobic for a longer stay so perhaps check before booking

The room smelt like someone smoked in it and tried to cover it up with strong chemicals that gave us both a headache. The bathroom doors on most if not all of the rooms on the floor need to be fixed so they don't bang and wake everyone up. I was constantly woken all night from this. The instructions to find the correct car parking weren't made clear when we checked in so had to waste time trying to sort the parking out.
