Carpet stains throughout! electricity in room went out, had to report twice before fixed; no hair conditioner; wash clothes; broken towel rack. In bathroom. Manager was excellent though as well as bar and dining staff.

The stay was great until we had no water on the morning of our departure and even though I informed reception nothing was really offered even though we had another 3 hours before we checked out. Which did put a little damper on the stay

room was clean, pillows were awful , really lumpy and to comfortable at all needless to say i had a dreadful next to no sleep shower head needed a proper descale as it wasn't great and the toilet smelt of stale urine. clearly would have expected more for £237 a night especially as we as vodafone use the novotel a lot. was too late for me to complain when i came back from a night out with the team and the check in desk was too busy for me to wait when i checked out yesterday. not at all happy to be honest but as it is close to the office i don't really have a choice of where i can stay
