Rooms and reception staff lovely, apart from the housekeepers who ignored me when I said morning and I repeated three times, rude ! The restaurant is the same as it was years ago and the lift to Lambton key is in a dire state, I was going to go again but not after still waiting for my holding deposit and it’s been 4 days. I’ll stick with the hotels I usually go with

The booking side was a bit of a mix up but got it sorted. I was surprised by the bond as hadn't had to pay one previously. Hotel was clean and tidy, beds super comfortable. Tiles in bathroom were cracked which I scraped the bottom of my foot on. Also requested our hand soap to be filled and it was never done. It was empty the entire 3 nights. Luckily we had 2 rooms so could wash our hands in the other room. The brekast was great, huge variety though stocks were low and the wait for food to be restocked was a bit long. . All in all the stay was good and I'd return.
