Hotel in urgent need to deep clean

Stayed again after an email from the GM ensuring me things would improve from my previous stay. Unfortunately, this was my worst hotel stay in some time and I will not be returning to this hotel again. As an Accor plus member who travels almost every week, I have posted in my fellow traveler group with 18,000 members and I was shocked to hear their experiences in this hotel as well. * Bed was dirty and the sheets had clearly not been changed from past guest. Reception had to attend room and replace sheets. On removing top sheets, the protector was absolutely filthy! This should be discarded or burnt rather than washed - but by the looks I wouldn't be surprised if it finds it way back to a bed. * Toilet roll holder fell off wall - not able to replace * Bathroom tap wouldn't turn on * Carpets are filthy - not just filthy but have blood stains or similar. (I have photos to support) * Wi-Fi still not working I appreciate you might be upgrading some of your rooms, but this room should be sealed shut and no guest should be allowed to stay in there again.

The points you have mentioned in your review are totally unacceptable from any hotel and in particular an Accor property. I will be addressing these issues with my senior management team to ascertain why this has occurred. With regard to the WIFI, we have mentioned this on our website and on third party booking sites, that we are in the midst of a complete upgrade which when finished will result in high speed WIFI throughout the property. Disappointed! Is the standard declining! Another working till at the bar would be helpful for quicker service during busy times, a change of menu at the celcius resturant occassionaly would make eating there more interesting as I feel even though we are infrequent stayers I've eaten my way through the menu over the last few years. It would be good if there were some coffee sachets in our room, not just tea ! I felt rather disappointed on check out when the receptionist found her paper work more important to finish than attending promptly to the customer in front of her
