This hotel gets 4 stars for location. Quick walk from the train station and close to the start of the Mural Trail. We stayed one night on the way driving to Skye. The bed was very hard even with a thin topper on it. The window was glazed over to let light in and faced inner buildings. The room was small and the walls in the room and the bathroom need a coat of paint. That being said it was the lowest price we paid for a hotel out of the 6 we stayed in on our trip. So the price was appropriate. It was dry and safe.

I had to change rooms as part of my curtains as missing. Got upgraded but this room still had a broken cupboard door and shower door. Clean and comfortable bed though. Cooked breakfast was overdone and dry - wish I hadn’t paid the extra. Helpful staff.
