Receptionists very welcoming and super helpful Liked the tea/water section, however, it would have been nice to have some water or a jug in the room The mattresses were uncomfortable and made long term use unpleasant. There was no room to open up luggage due to limited space, though after use, the bags could fit under the beds. On one day all the rubbish and dirty cups were left in the room after room was cleaned, though on second day they were removed and bins also emptied. Otherwise, the location is great! The staff is great! The ambiance is great! Our room was quiet and peaceful.

The check-in and out were perfect, the price was fair, all the personell were lovely, the room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily, the bed was very comfortable, the shower and the air conditioning were great and the soundproofing was truly excellent!! However, we would be hesitant to stay again for more than a couple of nights due to the room layout. There was little surface space eg. for toiletries, no coat hooks so everything including wet coats had to be hung on the four coat hangers provided. For two people there was nowhere to store other clothes or belongings so that we were living directly out of our suitcases. The Hooks for towels were inadequate and it was not possible to step onto the shower mat directly from the shower because of the layout. If more hooks (perhaps beside the entrance and next to the shower) were provided, we could possibly deal with the lack of other storage.

We really enjoyed our time in Berlin. Our stay in the hotel was great mainly because of the staff members. They were very helpful, nice and responsive. Breakfast was great, bike rentals not too expensive, the hotel is very well located close to Alexander Platz and other attractions.

I think that this hotel does not deserve the Ibis Styles brand. I have visited many and all are much better than this one. My room was oldish - in furniture, carpets, structure. The toilet is inside the sleeping room - with a board that obstructs the view only partially. There is a permanent smell of mold that makes the room particularly unpleasant. Ibis styles should be a brand that I trust and where I book a room with no second thoughts. This is not the case here.

Berlin is really expensive so we paid way more than what we usually would for a place like this. The sheets and bed were clean. The bathroom was only surface cleaned, there were stains on the wall and some dirt on the floor that was there when we first checked in and hadn't been cleaned our whole stay. It was warm that weekend and there was no air in the room so it felt humid and uncomfortable when the window was closed. It was loud from the train and people. But the staff was really nice and I enjoyed the location of the hotel, very central! Also free tea/ coffee during breaks was nice.
