The overall experience is topnotch. Can't be faulted. The GM was very friendly and the general staff too. The rooms are quite spacious and sparkling. The food was delicious. It was great value for money and my family & I will definitely be visiting again.

I stayed for a week while I was attending Robert Gordon University on training. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, nice view of the harbour which I loved. staff were very pleasant and helpful. Central location. I would definitely recommend

Good location for exploring the area

Great location being only 5 minutes walk from the bus and railway stations. Just what I needed for days out exploring the area. The rest of the city centre including Union Street was close by and the sea front was no more than a 20 minute walk. Although Aberdeen has some beautiful buildings I did find much of the city centre away from the modern Union Square Shopping Centre very run down and a bit rough. Old Aberdeen was beautiful. A quiet room with good views over the harbour. Friendly and helpful staff on arrival. It was a 9 night stay which is longer than I would normally do in budget hotel like this. After long days out exploring the area including Royal Deeside and numerous coastal locations all that I really required was a quiet clean room with a comfortable bed and that's what I got. Although small the bathroom and shower were adequate. Breakfast each morning was more than adequate and in comparison to some other hotels with buffet style breakfast the hot food was very hot. I loved the haggis! I only had one evening meal in the hotel which was ok for standard bar meal type food but nothing spectacular. To improve even more a slightly larger tv would have been nice and some more power points especially close to the bed.
