We really enjoyed our stay at Century Old Town Prague MGallery Hotel Collection The staff, accomodation, facilities and breakfast were fantastic all of which made our brief stay in our new favorite city a pleasure. Again, many thanks to all the wonderful staff for enhancing our experience and also for forwarding some lost property on to us. We highly recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return.

A very good hotel in an excellent location

Inamarom TripAdvisor review

The hotel is located near the Republic Square, close to the old city and the restored Jewish quarter. The rooms are not large but comfortable, facing an inner courtyard and therefore quiet, despite the central location of the hotel. The only downside, in my opinion, was that the closet had no drawers or shelves. We will be happy to return to the hotel when we visit charming Prague again.

Location and hotel is good, but frontdesk people needs training

It was not a good experience at all dealing with the frontdesk. Day-1 (Saturday 20/04) I arrived, I was told that the booking is pre-paid but the payment is reflecting as yet (may be due to the weekend, they say) and hence asked me to deposit some cash. I deposited 500 CZK. The lady didn't even give me a receipt for this one. No problem! Then the lady asked me if I want to include breakfast to my package as it is without any additional charges. So obviously my answer was a big yes! Day-2 (Sunday 21-04) In the afternoon I went to the desk again asking if the payment is received and if not I had my friend with me who could have paid the entire amount. At this point the lady said, the payment not received yet however might receive before you checkout on Monday. So just pay another 500 CZK deposit for 2nd day and then all good. No payment needed. Day-2 (evening) I went to the desk again and this time there was a gentleman who seems to know his job well. He called out loud and clear that the agency has shared the Credit Card details but you need to pay the bill in full while checkout. At this time I had no cash with me to pay and I haven't had my CC with me. This gentleman charged the payment on CC shared while booking and then I was relieved from all my worries. He also called out that the breakfast was not included in the cost, so he would charge 650 CZK extra for that for Sunday morning and if I want to have the breakfast on Monday morning as well then another 650/- to which I denied and asked him not to include breakfast for the 2nd morning. Once the payment is done, I also reminded him about the 500/- CZK paid in cash and 500/- with CC (my friends card). He was surprised and annoyed himself to know that someone took 500/- in cash, but didn't issue a receipt. After a little search he confirmed that there is 1000/- deposit with the hotel and the same would be paid back while checkout (500/- in cash 500/- on my friend's CC). So Monday morning I went early to checkout so I don't miss this gentleman who was in night shift. He finally sorted all the things for me. I am sure the this wasn't intentional but it is really unpleasant experience, when you going to a new country and then struggling to get the right details about the payments and due to weekend even the agency was not available for me to confirm the details.
