One of the best hotel in Mauritius. Had a great stay with my husband and kids on my 10th wedding anniversary. The staffs were very welcoming, my room was WOW, decorated with bouquet and flowers by the adorable florist Mrs Indira. My kids were spoiled with welcoming gifts and had fun at the kids club with the 2 ladies Shobna and Anjenita. Special Thanks to Vishal and Bed(F&B), Minta and Sharon(House keeping) and Nawaz for the warm welcome. My stay was memorable. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Thank you 😊

What can we say ! Except it’s just perfect !! We had an amazing stay at this hotel and returned here after getting married in the grounds 25 years ago . So this trip we were celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary plus my birthday . The beach is still fantastic ,the water clear ,do bring swim shoes though as there is some shingle under foot . The room was clean and linen changed daily . The view from our room was to die for … it was actually the sane room we stayed in 25 years ago but now been updated in a chic way . Davina who works for guest relations really pulled out all the stops and ensured our stay was nothing but perfection arranging lots of little touches during our stay. This included a bottle of Cava on ice and heart cakes,on arrival ,flowers to the room,breakfast on the beach and a birthday decorated bed ,as well as checking in regularly with us that we were happy either everything. She is so lovely and amazing too ! The Staff are so friendly and some are the same as when we’re were here 25 yrs ago . Special mention to Pravind,Vishal ,and Suraj …lovely men that ensured we were looked after in all the restaurants etc ,and all football crazy . We will miss the banter . We went to the Chinese restaurant once during our stay which was nice and twice to the Japanese which was cooked to perfection by Chef Kumar Jajoo ! If you get a chance to visit this beautiful paradise island then The Sofitel Imperial is a must ! We hope to return again in another 25 years !

We went for our honeymoon to Mauritius and chose to stay at Sofitel l´Imperial for a week. The room was fine, nothing exceptional, I was waiting for something more special to be honest. We got a ground floor room (you could barely see the sea), the shower and (small and old) bathtub were not very clean, there was moisture on the walls. The rooms are old and need renovation.

- Preis/Leistung is good - gym too small but very good service - garden is very good - restaurant service not always friendly (too busy) and table rezervesation depends on tipp (one couple had every day the same “best-located” table) - it was too crowdy, in restaurant and at pool&beach - people reserving the beach beds at 6am in the morning, nearly no any place after 8am. More beds needed! Or find a measure to avoid reservation via towel! - rooms are old-fashion and was not always clean - overall, not 5 star sofitel like. More like a good 4 star hotel.

We enjoyed our stay from the very first second. The Opera Suite was lovely. We had relaxing moments at the beach and at the spa. Enjoyed the sunset each day with a glass of champagne from our private balcony. The gym is very well equipped. Food is varied, fresh and from good quality. The staff in all areas of the resort are all very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much also to the great staff who supported us to make arrangements (spa, restaurant, transport) in the days prior to our vacation. I can highly recommend Sofitel Mauritius L‘ Impérial Resort & Spa.
