Well located for Paris Expo, nice food, friendly staff but fans too loud in the room

Stayed for an exhibition at Paris Expo so well located for that. Ate in both restaurants and the food was really nice in each. The rooms were clean and big so lots of space. However the bathroom fan or air-con fan (or both?) were constantly going and you couldn't turn them off, they were noisy. Also when I booked I booked two rooms which I asked to be near each other, this was ignored. I also needed to extend the stay by one night and had to book this separately, on booking I mentioned the other booking and can we stay in the same room but this was also ignored. So we had to sort this when we got to the hotel, and even though it was sorted and could stay in the same rooms for the extra night, our room keys stopped working after the first booking expired so we had to go back down to reception and get our keys reactivated.

Stayed just over 1 week for business and pleasure on level 1. Overall a good experience. Some issues included 1) AC in the room is not truly adjustable. It was too warm during our stay despite setting the AC to the lowest temperature & highest fan speed. Opening window not an option as people smoke at the street level. 2) front desk staff was helpful at accomodating us to stay in the same room across 2 different bookings (business and personal) but keycard change over required 2 trips to the counter when it should have been sorted in 1 trip max. Great location, staff always helpful. Food at roof top restaurant was mediocre. Chicken was very dry.

However, we regret to hear that the room temperature was not to your liking. Our system operates either in heating mode during winter or in cooling mode during summer. During your stay, temperature fluctuations could have been significant, up to ten degrees Celsius within a 24-hour period, hence why we were unable to switch directly to cooling mode. Regarding the keycards, unfortunately, the front desk could not do more as card encoding is based on reservations rather than specific rooms. Therefore, as your stay was divided into two bookings, it was indeed necessary to perform a re-encoding. Nevertheless, we are pleased to hear that despite the split booking, you were able to remain in the same room without having to relocate. A new hotel and a better value than the Mama Shelter down the street. The parking is nearby and the rooftop restaurant is very nicely situated with a a view out above the Paris skyline. The room is huge relative to the Mama Shelter from the same hotel group, and a better deal as well.
