Been staying at Accor properties for 13 years and were so blown away by the dedication and personalised service we received here. So much effort was put into making my husband's birthday truly unforgettable. Very highly recommended
Rooms are in need of a refurbishment. For the price I paid for 4 nights. My family and I could of gone to Sea World for 5 nights with unlimited entry to fun parks. There was no breakfast included and it was our second stay in over a year and no discount offered.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at the Mercure Penrith. I am delighted to share with you that our Hotel accommodation renovation will commence in 2017. Penrith is a wonderful location with the Mercure surrounded by a host of fun filled attractions. Warm regards Kellie
As member of Accor I expected better than my family received at the Mercure Penrith. The stay started badly when we booked in. I had booked 3 Superior Queen Suites on line as the ":Winter Specials" for $155.00 per night including breakfast. One room was very superior to the other two and we were located on different floors when I had requested rooms near each other. After swiping our credit cards we went to the allocated rooms. Within minutes I received an alert from Amex that I had been charged $499.00 . That was the first shock when it should have been only $310.00. I discovered the other two member's of my family had been also changed $499.00. I went to see the Receptionist and that was not a pleasant experience as I was told the $499.00 was the two day rate and that was it. To this response I showed her the email booking confirmation I had and that did not change her attitude. It was only when I advised that I would speak to their HO did she then go see someone and come back and said they would honour the on line price??? Then there was the debacle of the breakfast that was some distance from the hotel in the Panthers Club. Did they tell us we needed temporary membership to enter club from the hotel NO. And then we had to pay $2.20 for each person to have temp membership. And did our cards work NO. The whole experience was poor and one member of my family is today 12th July waiting for the pending $499.00 to be reversed to their Visa Card and the correct amount to be charged All up a Poor experience and never will the family darken the doors of the Mercure Penrith or the Panthers Club again.
