Its a wonderful feeling when you arrive at a hotel that you have only previously seen in photos and it surpasses your expectations. Wonderful place, location, service and food... Not to mention the view!!!
A fabulous place with lovely lake views, beautiful new well appointed rooms. All staff we encountered were exceptional and eager to please. A really lovely experience and we'll certainly be back there.
Love staying here. Rooms are clean and fresh. Staff always lovely. Never had a problem with parking. Value for money is excellent. Found this to be better accommodation than others that is more expensive. Meals at the club weren't as good this time as last time, but very handy not having to leave the building to access club.
Enjoyable stay, clean accommodation, comfortable beds and adjoining club provided excellent meal and drink choices. Away from the hustle of The Entrance only 1.5kms - Good walking options around the coast and lake.
motel was all I had hoped vey clean and well maintained .staff were very friendly and very helpful, being attached to diggers club is also a bonus the meals were very good and a very reasonable rate again staff were very friendly and helpful.will certainly stay again and have no qualms recommending this place to anyone
The Ibis at The Entrance is only a year old, so that was one of the reasons for staying. The service was great, the people who work there were all very nice and nothing was a bother. The room was your usual Ibis room, needs a bigger TV lol...the bed was amazingly great! And the shower had great pressure and heat :) The food at the Diggers Club next door which is attached to the hotel, was not that great, the people who worked there were all very nice, but breakfast could have been a better amount of choices and the other meals were a little average.
When booking my room I was encouraged by the promise of a "great view of the Tuggerah Lakes" available with a Superior Queen Room. Hmmm, a view of the car park, residential views and partial view of the lake (if looking out to the far left) did not meet my expectation of a "great view". Save your money as only King rooms seem to have the "great view".
