Upon a late check in I was asked to pay for the room. I showed them the email which clearly shows the room was paid for but they would not accept this. They kept saying that they tried to take the money but it was rejected. I then had to spend over half an hour checking my banks accounts. Eventually we agreed that I would pay the city tax and then they would look into the payment. Every time I went past reception I felt very uncomfortable. They kept producing an email saying that they tried to take payment the day before but it was declined. Mediocre hotel and poor booking systems that make customers feel like they are in the wrong.
