All staff extremely helpful to make our stay the best. "Jelly" went out of her way to ensure our room change went smoothly and had least impact on us. We enjoyed our club access and had a nice meal in the restaurant. Rooms were lovely - again we found the aircon was unresponsive to our needs. It cooled down fine after a long day of sun, but struggled to match our requested 23C temperature on heating up. Thanks to the superb staff.

This was my first stay at the Sofitel, and I'll gladly go back. Very convenient location for most central Wellington locations, and plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants within a short walk. Stylishly decorated and well-appointed room. A small lobby bar and an on-site restaurant (which I didn't try). Reasonably priced for what you get.

We were welcomed as a Platinum member and provided with an upgrade. The room design and fittings were first class. We had dinner in the restaurant. The design and ambience was again first class, as was the food. The staff were excellent - great knowledge of the food options and terrific service.
