Positives: Room was clean, staff friendly and pleasant. Negatives: Room far to hot and not enough fans to go round so as there for 3 nights had no option but to go buy our own. Water pressure in the bathroom poor leading to a damp trickle from the shower. Key card needed reset each day as would not retain the information to allow the door to open.
Dear AH thank you for your review. The glorious weather caught us by surprise and I apologise if we were not able to supply you wit h a fan. I have shared your feedback about keycard with my team and I confirm that this is now resolved. best wishes Sandeep
during heatwave provision should be made to provide fan to ventilate the room. Efforts was made despite leaving the message for the manager. The fan on wall when turned on was blowing dust hence it was completely useless
Dear hsnagi I am sorry to hear that we were not able to provide a fan during the hot weather. The glorious weather took us by surprise and all our fans were in circulation that day. Please accept my apology. best wishes Sandeep
Have stayed here a few times and keep going back. Great value for money and a fantastic breakfast.. Will be back there again soon. Some rooms are bigger than others and the larger rooms are fantastic value for money with large comfortable beds and a sofa. Whenever we look for somewhere to stay in this area this hotel always comes out cheaper than the Premier Inn and Travelodge
Tried other hotels etc in the area but the mercure is the best. Rooms are good, always clean, breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice but the staff are brilliant. We sometimes eat at the mercure in the evening, the food is always good & there's plenty on your plate, but I would prefere smaller portions at a more reasonable price. It's only a small gripe & will not put me off booking the mercure for our next visit north.
Nice hotel for the money. The rooms are nice with tea/coffee making facilities, iron, trouser press. Breakfast and bar all pretty good.Very convenient for Keighley.Bradford ,Skipton. The Dales and more. Also plenty of parking
We took my mother for her 9th birthday. Although we had a few problems the first day the management sorted them out and on the second day they pulled out all the stops to make the meal a great experience. The only thing in the restaurant was in the evening for dinner it is nice to have table cloths.
Bloody awful place. Noisy and dirty with incompetent staff to boot. Rooms were old and shabby with peeling paint and second rate decorations. Bed was comfy but that really didn't matter as there was to much internal and external noise. Booked a late next day check out to catch up on sleep and still had house keeping hammering on the door to get in, in the end I gave up and left. Tempted to sleep in the car next time I am that way.
Dear Mr EEater thank you for your feedback. Please accept my sincere apology. I admit some areas of the hotel do need updating but rest assured that there is a plan in place to softly refurbish rooms. I do hope that this will not deter you from returning back to Bankfield hotel in the near future. with kind regards Sandeep Kaushik
