Everything was lovely, the place has certainly had a spruce up over the years. However the restaurant is too small for the number of people wanting dinner. As you are not walking distance to other options, you must book well ahead. We were unable to have dinner and had to order room service which was not great. The Whiskey Bar was top notch too!!

The food options are terrible. The wait time at Sublime for a coffee or lunch was horrible. Made the experience unpleasant.

Restaurants, foyer, common areas were messy, dirty and overcrowded. Staff were lovely but for a Fairmont hotel we were disappointed, we expected more from a 4-star resort.

I am sorry if some aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Next time we will strive for higher scores. At the Fairmont, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every guest; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Like most large scale resorts, we do have an influx of families over school holiday periods, which dramatically reduce in number outside of school holidays when we cover all markets equally. We have also worked on increasing the number of onsite activities for children to ensure they are kept busy and therefore lessen the impact on couples over school holiday periods. Based on your feedback we will continue to look into further, thank you for taking the time to let us know, we appreciate any opportunity to continually improve our offering. More choices in food menu’s. entertainment for adults eg. movies, not just for children. Hall way carpet was dirty. Needed to be vacuumed.
