« two night stay with disappointment »

The room smelled mold, had carpets that are old and dusty (unchanged since the beginning of when the hotel was under Hyatt management). There are no shelves or cupboards to put shirts or clothing. Bed quality is average, bathrooms are small, old, but functioning. As my room was on the 2nd floor it had poor light. Corridors are also poor and smelly. Lobby area and restaurant are nicely renovated, clean and practical. Service is polite, friendly but not always efficient. I asked the reception to be contacted my the General Manager to discuss the issues, but there was no response and no feed back from any staff member. I consider the price of $ 466.65 much too high for such an average accommodation. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

« Consistently great! »

I regularly stay at the Pullman AKL - it's central to the city, provides a very comfortable facility for my work focus, and to relax after work...best of all, the team at the Pullman are all about making my visits seamless and more enjoyable. Chirayu and the team in the Executive Lounge provide a lovely service - and, the restaurant team prepare and deliver lovely food. It's always disappointing when the hotel is too busy to take my next reservation...but I guess that's the price of being popular. I've also stayed at the Pullman when attending events in AKL - its close to the action (walking distance to Vector Arena)

« Could have been better »

Booked 2 rooms, arrived just before 6pm only 1 room was ready (check in at 2) at 7pm 2nd room still wasn't ready. On my confirmation email check out was 2pm, which I had to show staff several times, the late rooms keys wouldn't work after 11am on check out day, interrogated by staff on the day of check out, I felt like I was overstaying and ripping the hotel off.

« A great stay at the right price. »

Better than what we expected. great room, large, quiet and with a workable coffee machine. Only fault took ages to check in but once we did the desk person was very helpful. in a nice area near Aukland University and beautiful parks.

« Restaurant Food Quality »

We have dinner in the restaurant and they are serving a dinner set and limited choices of foods. The chief who cooked our foods was very clumsy and untidy. Most of the time, they sampling and tasted the foods and the mount is chewing or biting something. Quite disappointed to see the hotel restaurant with such standard.
