Nice stay

Majority of staff very friendly and tried to help us. On the first night we were put on a "room for wheelchair user" and it wasn't good because the sink was very low and the shower had only curtains and had mold. Besides, it happened that the toilet wasn't working and the sink was clogged.. they manage do fix it (toilet and sink) in around 1 hour but it made us be late for things we have already schedule. On the next day they were able to put us on a regular room from the same category. The breakfast was good but a bit messy, every day the coffee machine and pancake machine would need to be fixed, what usually took some time and made the breakfast slow for everyone (and we were there from 07:30/8h. The hotel is well located

Dear LUCAS T., Thank you so much for your valuable feedback; we really appreciate your time for the review. We apologies for the inconvenience caused on first day. I still remember that you approached us in the morning about a disabled toilet because your wife was pregnant. We did a room move, and we are happy that you enjoyed our service. We do take the feedback of not providing disabled room to others, as we were completely full on the day you arrived and it was allocated to you. We are sorry for this. I hope you will have a much more pleasant stay than this. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one. Sincerely, Chaitanya, Reception Team Member.

I had an early morning appointment at the hospital and I live outside of London. So booking a hotel room near the hospital was the best choice. Room was comfortable and clean.

It was a good stay, the room actually had a bit more space than I expected which was great, enough for multiple suitcases of different sizes. Nice that there was a kettle in the room and a microwave available at the breakfast area that can be used throughout the day, super convenient! Oh and we had a nice view of the mosque next door (no sound disturbance) with the London business area buildings in view. The location is a short walk away from the Aldgate East and Whitechapel stations which made things really easy (especially for getting back at night.) The area is diverse and lively enough in the evenings too that you feel safe walking. You can leave your luggage at the hotel (ie. after checkout) though they do charge for it. Cabin sizes are €1 and bigger ones are €2. The way that was communicated by the employee to us was a bit too curt so that wasn't nice. First time I had to pay for leaving luggage after check-out but a euro is really nothing and later in the day, the room where they keep luggage seemed pretty busy so I get why they charge for it. One thing is that I believe the window in the room we stayed at doesn't open so the air can get stale and we had to keep the AC running at night to avoid the dry, stuffy air.

Dear ECESU E., We very much appreciate your comments regarding your stay at the ibis budget London Whitechapel - Brick Lane. It is always a pleasure to receive feedback. I will share your comments with our team. I am sure that this feedback will serve as an encouragement to all of our staff as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. Thank you again for sharing your experience, and we hope your next visit will be as pleasant as the previous one. Sincerely, K M Yasin Arafat Front Office Team Member

Giulio Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

Good evening, I just spent 5 nights in your hotel with my family, using the B&B formula. The room was clean, a little bit tiny, but the bathroom and all the furniture was ok. I have to complain about the breakfast. In five days we spent in your hotel, there was always missing something. First day you ran out of cereals (coco pops) and cold milk; the second day coffee machine was broken, on third day you ran out of napkins and the staff gave us bathroom paper to use instead. Finally on the last two days you ran out of pan au chocolat and again napkins, and spoons. It’s not fair to paid for something that is clearly not a good service. But most of all, and this is really such a shame, to our daily complain, your staff gave to us all the same answer: “We have a problem with delivery”.. So delivery? Is this your problem? Or do you have problem with honesty? I guess that honesty is very important in business, and managing an Ibis hotel without honesty is really really a bad deal. I often stay in your hotels brand (novotel, ibis, mercury) but it’s the first time I had to write a complain letter, cause I did not like your service and most of all your policy about honesty with the customers. I will try to reach with my complain letter the office in charge that is managing your permission to rule that place
