happy to recommend this hotel very central 3 mins to Blackfriars bridge 15 mins from parliament etc hotel was clean, efficient staff , centrally located and late bar what more can you ask for in London would stay here again

The hotel is perfect for a no hassle stay, with wonderful staff. They go out of their wayto make things easy. Excellent free wifi system. A short walk to the famous Old Vic theatre and the Globe, The Tate Modern, riverside walks and just across the bridge from The Strand and Fleet Street. Although the rooms a not large and bathrooms very clean but small, its nice to come back to relax after a day visiting and make oneself a cup of tea with in room kettle.View management response »

Had to pick somewhere for first part of UK trip and found/chose this place because of location (car hire as well as the obvious - proximity to tourist highlights. Because of the success of this choice we have booked same for our end of UK experience. It has been a successful choice for us: comfortable, quiet, proximate, relatively economical, supportive and friendly staff.View management response »

"A cute facility"

This is a cute facility. But for a hotel of this class, a table top refrigerator and branded toiletries would have been ideal. The house keeping crew are also not particularly friendly. All the same, I ll like to stay there again!View management response »

I stay at IBIS hotels on a regular basis and am a fan generally speaking. You know what you get before you start which is a smart functional room and adequate bar and restaurant facilities. My only complaint is that on the 12th floor at Blackfriars (and other IBIS I have stayed at) I heard a massive "gush" when the floor above flushed the loo (I think it was the loo?). Because the rooms have prefabricated bathroom pods the noise seems to amplify through the bedroom and it woke me in the early hours a couple of times making me tired for work the next day. The Ibis London Blackfriars is the best Ibis that we have stayed. Coud be one standard. Just smals comments like cleanliness of the rooms e the noise ealy in the morning with some people opening e closing the room doors.Breakfast excellente with very efficient staff. "Ibis quality and good localization"

Its a Ibis quality padron, no surprises in this, good internet on the room, clean and the stuff very helpfful. The localiation its very good, near the Southwarck station, you can go to any london location with a few stations away. The neigbohood near the hotel its not busy, and dont have too much stuff to do but you wont aniway, just take de Tube and go whatever you want.View management response »

The hotel is located just 10 minutes walk from the Thames path, about 20 minutes walk to Tower Bridge and 10 minutes to Waterloo. It's central enough to be easily accessible but in a nice quiet area that guarantees a good nights sleep.The hotel itself was modern and comfortable but really stood out due to the helpfulness of the staff. Best IBIS we've stayed in. Food was outstanding. with an outstanding breakfast menu, fresh croissants, etc. And dinner menu was interesting and well-prepared. And location is terrific- minutes from Globe Theatre, Tate, and St. Pauls.View management response »

the hotel is clean and close to waterloo station and the BFI Imax. however the prices range too much for the same room. Too expensive in high season. the reception staff are not very friendly and impossible to talk with GM.View management response »

Great location......close to transport & attractions. Not too far to walk to places of interest if that's your thing. Lots of good eating places in the next street. friendly & helpful staff. Good breakfast. Trendy hotel. A bit noisy......generally when guests let their doors slam closed. Also the timber laminate floors creaked as did the bathroom pods. Overall we were very pleased with our choice & would definitely stay there againView management response »

An enjoyable stay as usual with Accor hotels.I was able to have a drink at the bar at 11 pm before bed.Our room was excellent, clean and the bathroom particularly well appointed.There were 2 drawbacks: - 1) we were awakened at 6.30 am on Saturday morning by noise from below possibly off loading goods or the rubbish being collected, the noise was greatly reduced by closing our window, but we did not get back to sleep. 2) Breakfast was busy and only one very slow coffee machines was working thus leading to extended queues.The breakfast was however really good and excellent value.View management response »
