This resort was amazing being so close to Brisbane yet having the feeling of being miles away from a city. If you want a relaxing escape this is the place to go. The views from the restaurants is pretty spectacular and we couldn't fault any of our meals or the service. The rooms are compact but well laid out and we had a view to lake Samson through the trees. The spa treatment added to the relaxation experience and after 2 nights we felt we had been away for a week. There is also a lot to see locally if you prefer to get out and about. All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. There are stairs and ramps through out the resort so it's best to travel light when packing.
Thank you so much for reviewing our property, and for your lovely comments. We are so glad that you were able to rest and relax whilst here and take in our amazing views. You are right, the stairs can be troublesome for those that have mobility issues, unfortunately having these amazing views does come at the small price of multiple stairs in and around the property. Thanks again, we hope to see you again sometime soon. Warm Regards Teresa
Excellent location on top of Clear Mountain. Great panoramic views. Very comfortable accomodation with great bed. Food very good at every meal. Staff friendly and helpful and attentive to every request..
Thank you so much for your short and to the point review about the qualities you enjoyed about your stay, all the areas you have mentioned are truly important to us and to read verification that we are getting it right was extremely appreciated. Warm Regards Management
When booking through Accor we requested Toowoomba so naturally thought Clear Mountain was nearby. We then found out it was north of Brisbane! The hotel is very secluded and we did enjoy our stay. Dinner was in the casual restaurant, the spicy chicken wings had no spice at all, I was told it was due to the waitress taking the order. Upon check out I had my booking clearly stating Prepaid but apparently it wasn't. I don't know if this was the fault of Accor or the hotel. If we were seeking a quiet place to stay we would return
A beautiful outlook over the Brisbane city and countryside. A wonderful restaurant with views to die for and lovely food. Clean Modern rooms. A great place to visit even if you live in the city and want a weekend escape. Excellent costumer service. Only downfall of our trip was not enough hot water to go round.
Dear Shelley, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay with us. Shelley, your positive comments are very much appreciated by the whole team. Thanks again, we look forward to welcoming your back soon.
Would thoroughly recommend staying at the Mecure Clear Mountain Lodge. Beautiful location with beautiful views. Lovely meals & very friendly helpful staff The rooms have ecxellent views of the surrounding area plus the CBD of Brisbane. To get away from the hustle & bustle, concrete jungle of city life, this place is where you should go.
Dear Ann, Thank you Ann for sharing your experiences with us, our hope is that each guests gets to enjoy the mountain for what it is, a reprieve from the city. The interactions that our staff have with our guests is really important to us to read that not only did you enjoy the views and food but that the staff were friendly was fantastic to hear. Thanks again, looking forward to welcoming you back. N/B Next time try one of our new Deluxe rooms which are coming online at the end of August.
As an anniversary get away it was a terrific romantic setting. Staff was friendly and food was great. Bed was a bit small but I am 6.3 so most are. Bathroom was a bit dated and strange basin setup, really low even for my wife 5.5. The biggest issue was that there was a wedding function on and all the noise could be heard form thumping music and group chatting. There was an 11pm curfew so it did stop. The worst was the guest leaving they would shout and laugh outside the main hall with no consideration for the other guests that were in the hotel. So would be a good idea to check if a function is on.
Soak up stunning views, from the Glasshouse Mountains in the north to the sand patches on Moreton Island in the East! Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Restaurant food is delicious. Once seated, the waiter was friendly and very attentive to our needs but he needs to greet people when they first enter the restaurant and bar area, even if just to say, 'I'll be with you in a few minutes.'
