We loved our stay at the Novotel- it was one tram stop from Gare Saint Jean & a very short tram ride into the Bordeaux centre. Our room was a good size and very comfortable.

Friendly team. Helpful and very quick to respond. Key did not work initially and towels had not been placed in the room. Usually this would have no impact but we had been travelling for 30 hours. Clean and comfortable stay.

For a single night, it's something you can put up with, but there are definitely better Novotel hotels I've stayed in. The hotel is dark, the carpets have stains and I don't appreciate how clean they are. The air conditioning does not work properly and the rooms are quite hot. And the breakfast was disappointing...no more choices, the scrambled egg was raw, few bread choices, no more orange juice and no refills and the fruit choices were very very limited.
