"Great hotel, definitely will come back!!"
16th February 2013, Priskila, Jakarta, Indonesia
We was there for one night during my honeymoon and we get free upgrade to the penthouse. It was the best experience ever, the staff is very kind and because the package that we bought include 2pm late check out, we still can enjoy that for the penthouse. The check in and check out was smooth, thanks to alin, the receptionist that take care of us. We get our room decorated with two towel swans and fresh flowers, they even prepare a card for us, really sweet. The penthouse is very big, with its own living room, dining table for8people, 2 bathrooms, walk in closet, massage room and jacuzzi with wonderful view of bangkok. It was too big for two people but we enjoyed it very much. Other than the greatest room we ever be in, the breakfast is also the best one that we have been. The quality of the food is excellent, they even have a beehives that drips honey, could it get any better than that?Overall, this is a great hotel, and we will be back for sure!

"OverOverrated"
12th February 2013, masaccio2, Paris, France
To be hip only is not enough.Nice rooms in most of the cases but bathroom sometimes getting already old and smelling like the gym of my youth.Breakfast in rush hours serviced like in a "all included" of an average beach resort.Don't pull out your Accor Favorite guest business card if you have it. It's useless.Having stayed four times and asked every time for a late check-out ( late flight).Four refusals which means it's an hotel policy.Luckily enough, there are quite a few nice hotels in BKK with less arrogance and better service.

Management responseDear masaccio2Thank you for your comment, yes you are very true, being HIP is not enough and we try our utmost to please our guest, judging by the rating and overall comment on this site we don’t do too bad at it but we can certainly get better and your feedback come as a sharp reminder that we need still need to improve on some aspect of our offering. I am very sorry that you did not like our breakfast so often complemented on this site and yes the advantage card bring you privilege but late check out for example depends on availability, you’ll find many reviews mentioning it in a positive way so it is not certainly a hotel policy. Please accept my apology for any inconvenience caused. Customers definitely have the choice in Bangkok and this is why i take your comment very seriously.Let’s hope we can regain your confidence during your next stay to Hotel Muse Best RegardsNicolas Peth General Manager

"great hotel in bangkok"
12th January 2013, traveladdiction_13, Hong Kong, China
This is a great hotel with classic and boutique style hotel in bangkok city . The day when i arrived at late night . The reception staff still arranged me a higher floor .Welcome drink has variety.. the room is clean but has a bit dark . However , it's a match style of boutique hotel if you don't mind . The bed is extremely Comfortable . The linen was clean . TV has a box cover with remote control to open it by your own . The roof top bar is nice and Italian restaurant at the basement look historical style but i don't have time to try this time .. Yes, I will recommend this hotel to everyone if you want a quiet place but easy to get into main shopping complex with just 7-10 minutes . This is cool hotel i ever stayed in bangkok city before .. Good to try ..

"Superb hotel deserves many more stays"
4th January 2013, KevSG2, Singapore
Loving this beautiful hotel with an old world charm that takes u back to the days of King Rama's Kingdom of Siam. The location at Langsuan road is a 8mins short walk away to Ratchaprasong junction where the Chit Lom BTS station, Erawan Shrine and many shopping destinations can be accessed thru the convenient pedestrain skywalk. Near the hotel on both the right and left hand side of Langsuan road, you can find amazing cafes, restaurants and massage places literally at your disposal. We love 'All Six to Twelve' at Urbana Suites just 2 mins walk away for contemporary western cuisine at incredible prices. Further down, try Gaggan for the most innovative progressive Indian cusines. The famous Crepes & Co cafe, has its 2nd outlet within the area, is also within minutes walk from Hotel Muse. We also love Portico, an urban mall along Langsuan Road where an Organic foods cafe and supermarket and many other interesting restaurants are located. The decor of the hotel is luxurious and tastefully decked out. The bathrooms are superb with marble tiles and flooring and rain shower facilities. I stayed at the corner rooms, so I get vast window views which is an added pleasure. The bed is also one of the most comfortable and the bedding high quailty and beautiful. The pool is small, but suffice for a lazy day swim. Gym is small but enough to work out a sweat. The staff are well trained and greets guests at all times, making you feel welcomed.2 complaints though, check in/out desk is limited to 2 tables so expect some wait. The lifts are also taking too long during peak periods with many guests as there are only 2. I wonder how these can be improved. All and all, I am going back for sure!

Management responseDear KevSG2Thank you for loving our beautiful hotel and for writing a gorgeous review on this site. True to blending the rich colonial heritage of King Rama V with European architecture, our hotel was designed to provide that warm and homely yet luxurious feel.Yes, while being located on the exclusive area of Bangkok, we are very accessible to all the key places in Bangkok like major shopping malls and restaurants.I was very pleased to read that you found us to be tastefully decked out and thank you also for mentioning our comfortable bed and excellent bathroom interior with shower facilities. Not sure I can do something about the lift but we now have 4 desks to operate our check/in and check out procedure.Thank you again for your review and I hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back in the near future Best Regards,Nicolas Peth,General Manager

"Trying out this hotel"
19th November 2012, sing spore
Quite impressed when we arrived as the decor is good and cool. The room is good except the shower where the floor gets wet whenever you take your shower and this creates discomfort. The knobs for hanging the bath towel is only for show as it hardly can hang the towel on..last but not least, there was no turn down service in the evening in an expensive hotel when compared to others.

"Dark but cosy"
27th October 2012, tvdk, Helsingborg, Sweden
Very friendly staff and the general decoration is warm Thai style but too dark for me. I do not in general mind dark rooms but then the lighting must be accordingly.Fantastic bed, the best I have slept in for a long time. Too many details not working properly which is irritatating, eg hand shower holder could not hold the handle, lamps were loose, lamp shades already damaged and most important; the A/C was too loud for such a hotel catagory.Small but OK gym, too small pool.

"Nice boutique!"
30th August 2012, Aeronic1, Singapore
Very nicely designed and the interior decorations are really very apt and aced the boutique concept/theme.However, would actually love it more if the check-in area/desks were more prominently lit-up. The lobby area is too dark for my liking..although understand that it's to fit in the theme...but I think that it can actually still be slightly brighter without losing the scheme of things. The bed was comfortable and had a great night's sleep...loved the many self-branded items in the room. Only downside of the hotel is probably the location. Caught in a one way street, it is often that the taxi would be caught in a jam somewhere trying to get round to the hotel since there's only 1 1-way street to get in by.

Management responseThank you for taking the time to write this review, we are glad to hear that you appreciate our overall décor and theme. As a new style boutique hotel, we have focused a lot of our attention into providing quality service and branded ourselves out to be more of a lifestyle product than merely a hotel experience. You will find that most of the items in the hotel have been custom-made for us, from the sinks to our travel case drawers! On your next visit to us, feel free to ask one of our associates to provide you with a comprehensive tour of the hotel, for every corner has a story! See you soon and take care,Alex
