"A week in Siberia"

The Ibis in Omsk is the 5th Russian Hotel I have stayed at and by far the best value for the money. The buffet breakfast is also a value for what they offer.. The rooms are clean but on the small size yet functional. It has the Ibis decor I reccognize from other European cities. The only negative I have is with the temperature of the room. I know it was winter in Siberia but the room temperature felt like summer in the Sahara. I could not regulate the heat so I had to resort to opening the windows to cool down the room. A little tricky when the temperature is -15°C outside. Overall I recommend the Ibis hotel in Omsk.

1. Check the quality of floor cleaning especially in / around elevators.2. The quality of food at breakfasts is awful: meals / drinks selection is poor, bread / croissannts are dry and tasteless. Nobody supervising the restaurant when guests are in. 3. I had troubles with VISA card payment - receptionists failed to connect with bank.

Is in the center of the tow, near the best site of interess. Standard quality of the room, but on the back of the building and far from the elevator. I don't know why, because the hotel was empty.
