Stay in this hotel for 2d1n, staff is friendly and complete facilities in hotel.We wake up early to the beach side for sun rise (6.02am) and beach side is just few steps away from the pool.We rent a honda jazz in hotel (1500thb) and try the massage in the pool side too (abit pricy compare to chewang)Near by hotel has few family mart or 7-11, and W-retreat resort is just 2km away from the hotel.Overall, this hotel is awesome although the room is just has the basic facilities and small. but I love it.

Good location, very nice beach,clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast, free wifi, free parking, value for money, spent only 3 nights in this hotel with child.....will stay again and highly recommended this hotel.

Perfect place at Samui Island, ThailandIBIS at Samui , Borphut beach is at perfect location.It is 15 minutes from airport.The taxi at the street , in front of the hotel , set a clear and reasonable price to goeverywhere in the Samui island. This hitol gave us a perfect beach front and good sleeping.The food at hotel restuarantis delicious with reasonable price.The swimming pools are great!View management response »

Nice rooms mice atmosphere and near beach. The tour service in hotel not friendly. But hotel personal is good. pool is small and mot deep. very good for children adults may not like. Still very worthed to price

On checking in the staff seem completely disorganised and pay scant attention to any requests that may have made when booking. The concierge/taxi service are equally unhelpful and seem only interested in taking your money for a short ride that most hotel shuttle would provide for free.The restaurant/bar staff are slightly better, but still you need to approach them to order and your food is likely to get to you cold if you are eating outside, as often it seems to have been forgotten. The rooms are very small, especially by Asian standards. A half wardrobe with 3 hangers, no drawers and 1 shelf, is all you get to organise your clothes in a standard room.The only saving grace is the housekeeping staff who do a sterling job, rooms are cleaned to a high standard whenever requested, they are pleasant and helpful and happy to give you any amenity such as coffee/water/ironing board when you need it, despite being the staff who probably speak English the littlest and gets paid the least.The balcony can only just fit two chairs and you will be stepping on each other's toes if you are both out at the same time.Overall, we would not stay there again, as the facilities are basic, the staffing levels are inadequate. Consequently, the staff are overwhelmed, and the standard of service suffers.A lot of work required to improve.

"Very good value for money but service staff need fine tuning..."

Great value for money 3 star hotel with nice pools and gardens. For the price, we didn't expect too much. Not far from the lovely Fishermans Village in a quieter area of Samui. The only thing to mention is food and beverage staff in both the restaurant and poolside bar were pretty grumpy on the whole and were not particularly attentive which I have never experienced before. We are Accor advantage members and stay at many accor hotels. This was the first time we have stayed at an Ibis. We felt like we were interrupting when trying to order lunch at the pool! Hardly got a smile from any of them. They didn't seem happy in their jobs. On another note, the Housekeeping staff were lovely and friendly which made up for the other areas. Front Desk and F & B staff have far less than the minimum English required for the job so be prepared to be patient !! If you are on a budget and don't mind about the service, it is good value for money. We finished our stay at a 5 star resort in Chaweng so all in all our stay in Samui was great.View management response »

The hotel is good, but the service is not, especially from some of personnel. WiFi is free, but the signal is weak in the room, and finding the working login is very challenging (had to try about 20-30 different ones until got a few working). Food is overpriced compared to all places around. Transportation services are overpriced. Overall, because of the service level, it is not up to the IBIS standards as I know IBIS.View management response »
