"Great Overnight Stay"

Great value for money! Reception staff were very welcoming, room clean and provided everything you need. Car Park was well lit with plenty of spaces provided.It's a lttle way out of town but this was clearly stated when booking and it was a pleasant 20 minute walk into town.

a basic hotel. free parking makes this cheaper than city centre hotel with no parking. takes less than 30mins to walk into city, pavement all the way. have stayed many times but only used taxi twice prices vary from £5 to £9. hotel will call taxi for you. have not eaten in hotel as we tend to get up late walk into city and have brunch. lots of nice eating places. down side, they let dogs stay!!!

"My stay at the Ibis Swansea"

I have stayed at this Hotel before with no problems arising but this time the Room that we were staying in was not up to the standard that I would expect. The Electrical circuit on one side of the bed was not working and the light above was flickering. I informed the receptionist of the fault and she did offer us another room but we declined because we were only staying one more night and didn't want the inconvenience of moving. When I asked for compensation the receptionist declined informing us that it was our decision for not moving rooms which I was not happy about. I expect all rooms to be inspected thoroughly and passed before allowing guests to occupy them.

This hotel is well situated and reasonably priced. The staff are most helpful and courteous. The rooms are warm, with good facilities. The food is excellent both at breakfast and for other meal times.

"Super friendly budget hotel"

Some of the most comfortable beds ever experienced! A good quality breakfast and clean, functional rooms. A hotel in a good location with friendly staff. This is obviously a well cared for hotel and we certainly felt well cared for too. Nothing more required really!

the staff are polite and very helpfull, the room spotless and clean,it is good value for the money paid and the location is ideal just outsite the city!the idea of a buffet type breakfastis good as you can select what you want to eat.Iwould recommend this hotel to all my frends and work collegues.

"A great intro to the area !!!"

I have been lucky enough to have visited many different hotels in and around the UK , but this one rates very high in all aspects as recorded above. The service in whatever was required ie, taxis, eating establisments, eating in, was 1st class..The weekend reception staff, including the TRAINEE were polite and very helpful and full of good knowledge about the area and its sites. Swansea and the surrounding areas were very good.. Just along from the hotel towards the city was an excellent carwash !! The Waterfront Museum was really good and the very tall building a few hundred yards away has a great cafe/ resturant up at 28th floor with a great 360 degree view. The scrambled eggs have my vote ! The Mumbles was spoilt by the awful weather so any walks were out of the question, but in good weather are a.must. Also some excellent resturants in that area aswell. We will return to Ibis again soon. ......

"Cheap night but could be cleaner."

The room was OK for a nights stay.There was some mold around the tiles on the floor in the shower. There was also some dust and mold around the vent for the bathroom. it must be blocked with it as the bathroom steamed up badly and it made all the surfaces wet. I knew there was a main road next to the hotel but there was building work behind the hotel which started early in the morning. It was loud at times.
