Foetunately it was a short stay!

I am an Accor member. Check in: My stay was at MAD 2415 (which is approx EUR 225). I was requested to pay EUR 250. No refund. However receipt was MAD 2415 and not in Euro. This is an inconvenient as I cannot justify MAD2415 against payment of EUR250 at office. Restaurant: First time as guest, I go in a restaurant and had to pay immediately after. Same for room service. Need to pay in cash! What if I have a card?!! Room service: I wanted a burger which was on the card. I had the choice for 1 type of burger, the other not available! Housekeeping: Rooms were full of dust, chair is dusty, the sofa had traces of dirt...maybe the wrong room of the hotel! No remote control in room. Fortunately met a maintenance person in the corridor who helped me. How are checks done prior to arrival!!! Gym: Machines not connected; main gym machine not working; very small; this is only to say there is a gym, that's all. Breakfast: When on business trip, hot breakfast cannot start at 7h30 (omelette,eggs etc). Continental breakfast available before only! Concierge: The only positive service I had.

Facilities need improvement such as temperature control of "hot" food at buffet and I found a large tear in bedsheet and a substantial hole in a bath towel. Small paper cups not suitable for a cup of tea or coffee. All surfaces need a thorough clean. Generally disappointed.
