"Great location, good value ..."

If you want to go around Semarang, alone or with your familiy, this hotel will give you very good value for your money. The hotel is new, clean, and have friendly staffs. It's location is strategic. at Jl. Gajahmada, one of the street that 'attached' to 'simpang lima', the heart of the city. From simpang lima you can go easily to variuos place such as Jl Pandanaran (famous for its shops of Semarang food such as Bandeng Juwana and Dodol Garut). Not far, there is also the original Soto Ayam Bangkong. Around the city you can go the Lawang Sewu or Sam Po Kong temple. The room is not too small, actually bigger that I expected for this class of hotel (which means also no swimming pool). One inconvenience is that the parking lot is very limited, but the hotel provide free valet parking. You just have to give 15 minutes spare time for them to get your car ready infront of the lobby.

This hotel near to Simpang Lima and about 15 - 20 minutes to the airport, for night culinery-- the food court with a lot of options and reasonable price-- just acroos the street in front of the hotel.

place is very strategies, excellent service and friendly, very clean room. In-room safe, air conditioning, desk are among the amenities guests will find in every room. Breakfast is very delicious. To be fixed: too little parking, service valley too long, there is no swimming pool

i like this, even the rooms is quite narrow, specially the bathroom, but overall, nice.people are nice, but the worst of the hotel is the carpark. many rooms, but very few of spaces for cars. looked a little bit unorganized. but nice location and breakfast.

The hotel is better for the business person rather than leisure. The downside is there is no swimming pool and the free internet is always frozen. Otherwise all good.

The location is only a block far from Simpang Lima, the Center of Semarang city. Only 2 minutes walk to Ciputra Hotel & Mall.We just need to cross the Gajah Mada street to get to one of the biggest hawkers food festival complex in Semarang. The food complex itself is always full of guests and open until midnight. Staying in this hotel makes every destination in the city comes closer.The hotel is new (3 years). The shower experience is good (except the shower room is a bit shallow).

My opinion for the ibis semarang hotel is very good facility with value for money, but must improve for parking area because very small area. For the service is also good with quick action and good response

Stayed in Ibis for 4 nights, this is second time for to stay there. Rate is very good and location is just in the middle of the city. Only 5 mins walk to the Simpang Lima with abundant food option. Free wired internet with a decent speed and small "Ibis size" room. It is acceptable as a solo travellerThe bed is very firm and not comfortable. I didn't have a good sleep on my whole stay.The linen was full of stains and towels are made from poor quality, very thin and starts to discolor.Every 8 AM, the laundry guy knocked every door very hard and asked if any laundry to be taken. I found this very very annoying! The hotel must find another way to make it more civilized instead of waking people up. So annoying and uncivilized.

For value, this has to be one of the best hotel in Samarang. The hotel is located within a short walking distance from the main shopping centers thus close to food as well. Rooms are not very spacious but the very well thought out design is more than adequate, clean and comffy.Highly recommended.

I found no difficulties in making the reservation.The staff, from the cleaning services, bell boys, and receptionists are very friendly and helpful.The room is very clean and the price is cheap compared to its services.I highly recommend the hotel to my friends.
