« Restaurant area really disturbing with smokers waiting at the entrance »

As a frequent guest in Accor Hotels, had seen a restaurant area like that is really annoying. I was on the way to my breakfast, first thing I saw once I got out from the elevator was a bunch of people smoking. I thought I entered the wrong floor, but the area for breakfast was there behind those guys. It is really disturbing to be exposed to the smoke on the way in and out, and while waiting for the elevator. If Ibis Semarang unable to isolate those smokers, better don't have it at all. So bad for an Accor hotel.

« Clean, convenient location, spacious »

The hotel is clean. The location is very close to Simpang Lima. The room is big enough for two people. Usually the rooms in Ibis hotels are small. Ibis Simpang Lima is the exception.Easy to find food. The employees are helpful.

« 10 days visit Ibis Simpang Lima Semarang »

I have stayed here for 10 days with my wife. Last year we also stayed here for 3 days. I like Ibis Simpang Lima in Semarang because the place is near the Malls and the Staff are friendly, kind and very helpfull. The room is clean anD complete. I advise many friends from abroad to stay in this Ibis hotel. I certainly will come back again and stay for some days with my wife.

« Amazing Ibis Semarang »

Nice and strategic hotel location, warm hotel team and good internet connection. This is one of the best Ibis Hotel chain in Indonesia. I had stayed several times and all gave me best memorable hotel experience.

« Excellent Service and cleaning, Problem with linen »

Cleaning is excellent ; Service is good. Linen not clean, some stains and smelled of smoke, this is strange. Linen also too old. Television is too small. Corridor in my floor seems no air conditioner supply.

I submitted an report during my stay on Feb 20, 2015, because The FO staff does not issue me welcome drink and Rp. 50K dinner vouchers. But the next stay, 26 Feb, 2015, the FO staff issued it immediately.

« Friendly staff at a good location »

We had a good room with a view of the city. We walked to eating places which were close by and there is a mall with a super market where one can buy fruits or anything one wants. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful.

« Enjoyable and pleasant stay »

I am very pleased to stay in Ibis Simpang Lima Hotel Semarang. Although the parking space is very limited, the hotel staff is very pleased to offer a vallet service to the hotel guest. The location of the hotel is very strategic, and various shopping malls is within walking distance.

« Poor service »

I should take dinner voucher amounted 2 x Rp. 50,000 (booked 2 rooms), but the vouchers were not given to me when I checked in. I must argue first then the vouchers were given. Next problem, I pay for my dining, but again argued for using 1 voucher only for 1 transaction, but no term & condition stated in the voucher. While I took my dinner, I forgot to bring the hair gel, but the waiter did not have the intention to inform me (meanwhile they have my room number). It's completely terrible services

For family trip in Semarang, I choose Ibis Hotel with minimalis decoration, nice staffs and good breakfast. The hotel is located so strategic that I can enjoy shooping and eating by walk to the near good restaurants and mall.

« Good on arrival and Worst at Check Out »

I have many times stay here at Ibis Semarang Simpang Lima no major issue before, latest when i am check in is very nice when the one of receptionist staff is recognize me and very fast to check in and got my room key card, she is very kindly nice and friendly and she gave me to room number 3017. Next day in the morning when i want to check out around 8 a.m when I queuing at the receptionist many guest skip the line and the receptionist at that time do not care about skipping over so i just put my key card at receptionist desk and walk away without any comment. I hope General Manager (Wiwied Pujiono) of Ibis Semarang Simpang Lima may concern to this issue as my suggestion make a rope line at the reception counter or you provide "Express Check Out Drop Box". Train your receptionist staff to serving guests with First In First Serve basis and attentive to whose in the line and void skipping guests to make a queue line up. At 2 p.m when i was on the way, one of receptionist women ring my mobile and asked about my check out and i told her of course i have checked out since 8 in the morning and i put a key card on desk because i was wait too long. Not apology greeting just i heard thank you saying and end of conversation.
