"Family Stay in London"

The staff are great at the novotel.We stay here often.The rooms are not large but very clean & well appointed as is the hotel & general area.Its quiet there & a few restuarants to walk to .Its a great loction if travelling out of Paddington & not too far into London itself.The food is very good at the hotel.

We stayed 4 nights here in April 2012 5 adults + one teenager. We found the location great, close to Paddington Underground/Easy walks to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Marble Arch/ Little Venice and the Canal. Good local places to eat, good local shopping facilities. hotel staff friendly, helpful, courteous/ rooms excellent, breakfast excellent - hotel overall facilities excellent for both family or business.

The staff were extremely pleasant and could not have been more helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean and I particularly liked having a separate toilet and shower room. My son had a double sofa bed all to himself and it had been laid out for us on arrival. The mattress on our bed was a little thin and not the most comfortable (especially after 12 hour days of site-seeing) and I would doubt that it was a memory foam as suggested by staff. However, the other facilities more than made up for it and we enjoyed using the swimming pool in the evening which helped our tired legs. Paddington tube station was a brisk 15 minute walk away which is perfect and we could easily reach the tourist destinations via the tube. We recommend an Oyster card for your visit because it was so easy to use and saved us a lot of money. We were more than happy with the area the hotel was in. It felt safe and there is a Sainsbury's only 2 minutes walk away which was handy. We did not eat in the hotel (simply because we spent most of our day in London and it was easier to grab something when we were out) but the food looked very nice. We did feel that £16.95 - £18.95 per adult was a little expensive for breakfast thus we chose to eat out in the morning. The rooms are already expensive without this added cost. Overall though we had a fantastic time in a fantastic location and will definitely be back to this hotel again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

"Weekend break"

Only complaint I have is that on dining with you on the Saturday evening (buffet dinner) your head waiter was a little put out when we asked for a childrens menu for our 10 year old grandson - he did not like anything on the buffet other than the soup. The waiter was annoyed that my grandson had taken soup then asked for another menu. On the childrens menu soup of the day was listed, therefore it made no difference that he had taken soup - my grandson was a bit upset and asked us if he was allowed to finish his soup.

"A little out of the way in Paddington"

This hotel was very clean, the staff were helpful, the room was comfortable. The bar in the lobby was nice and cosy and the restaurant provided reasonably priced meals. There is free internet access in the lobby for 20 mins, however internet access in your roonm is quite expensive. The laundry service is good but expensive. There are a couple of cafes and a supermarket a short walk away, however is is not really all that close to Paddington Station if you have a lot of luggage. The area is a bit quiet on the weekends as there are mostly office blocks around. Very convenient for business travellers but there are other hotels closer to Paddington station for the leisure traveller

"Good Breakfast if Included"

The rooms were very nice, and the extra insulated windows kept all the noise out. We had a room with a couch and there was plenty of space. We asked for and were given with no problem a bucket of ice from the bar. Our room price included breakfast and it was a wonderful breakfast buffet. It was a little walk to the Paddington Station, but an easy walk bypassing a grocery store, and several restaurants.

"Great Location for a peaceful visit to london"

A really fabulous hotel next to Paddington Station with excellent links for the underground, near the canal and good facilities. Very modern clean presentaion and a gym and pool inculded. We had a great time without all the hustle and bother of having to find places to eat before we went to the Royal Albert Hall. A few regular well known names like Zizi, Starbucks nearby, aswell as bespoke bistro style cafes and bars.The service in the hotel was excellent, except for one of the Bar staff named Jana who's customer service skills need a little training. ( she kept us waiting and was quite frosty when she did eventually come to servre us) but having said all the other staff couldn't do enough. A gem of a hotel and we will stay there again.

"Nice hotel and good service"

Nearby a few new restaurants,bars,pub and foodstore.10 min. walk to Paddington station.Not far away from Hyde Park,Bayswater and nice canalwalks.Free internet in reseption on apple computers.Nice breakfast.Friendly staff .

"Google Maps is wrong"

Pleasant hotel near Paddington Station. Slightly pricy - but not unusual for London. The real issue is that the location given in Google Maps is incorrect. It took me almost an hour to find the hotel in the end.

"Novotel Paddington"

A very good hotel with good facilities. It is very handy if you are travelling to London Heathrow as well as using the underground. The staff are friendly and very helpful the quality of the food is very good and their is a vast choice for breakfast overall the hotel offers quality and good value for money.

"great location but you need to find it"

Great location - 10 mins walk with case to hotel - but better take a taxi first day - after that you are onnly 5 min quick walk to the station to take you anywhere in London. Remember to book your return heathrow express ticket before arriving its cheaper. Breakfasr at ths hotel is excellent it is new and trust me it is big rooms in comparison to anything else you will pay for in London. only problem I had was I thought the bed was too hard - other than that I would stay there again.

"Great Hotel"

Very nice hotel in a quiet location (a little hard to find in the first time), close to Paddington Station (it's the way out opposite to praed st). Staff from the reception very polite and helpful, room very quiet, you can't hear any noise from outside. Definitely will come back and recommend this hotel for people arriving from heathrow express. Breakfast was ok, they could have more options of fresh fruit, but this is a minor detail.New hotel good cost/benefit.

"Great Hotel Suited us Well"

A great upper end hotel in a good locationWe travelled with small children, the hotel had a lot of business travellers as well - we felt very welcome, enjoyed the pool. Well done.Many thanks to the staff, particulary Melinda who tracked down a lost dolly from our previous stay in Paris and had it posted to the hotel
