"Nearly all good"

The hotel service generally and the quality of the accomodation was spot on. The self service breakfast was a little chaotic. It was busy, but the staff didn't seem to quite keep up with replenishing the supplies. In the evening my husband ordered duck, and was asked if he wanted it 'rare' (? ) He said yes (but meant a more conventional pink), and then got almost raw duck. The situation was recovered well (whole new duck supplied without fuss) but it again made for a delayed meal, and i suspect it was mainly due to the terminology used by the waiting staff. We would stay again.

"A real find"

I hesitate to tell people about this little gem of a hotel incase it gets too popular! It is a real find - very quiet location, but good ameneties close by and 2 minutes walk from the Hammersmith & City / Circle lime tube line. Very reasonable for a central London hotel. Not sure if I would want to walk back along the canal alone late at night, but otherwise cannot fault it!

"A weekend on a seminar"

I had chosen this hotel for its location (i.e. being so close to Paddington Station & tube) since I had to commute to reach the location of the seminar I was attending. The staff was extremely friendly and helpfull (I had purchased breakfast with my internet reservation and it was no problem to have it as room service on Sunday morning at 6.30 since the restaurant service started at 7.00 and I had to leave early). The room was clean and very quiet. I would definitely reccomend the hotel and certainly won't hesitate to book it again.

"Excellent for train access to Heathrow and underground"

Very well presented place easy access to the train system, just a little confusing to find so make sure you have a map if you have not been there before.They provide all the sevices of a modern hotel including a modern building and facilities.

"Great Hotel"

This is the third time I have stayed her in 15 months and again with every aspect of my stay.The Novotel Paddington is of the high standard which I have come to expect of the Novotel chain. It is only 5 minutes walk from the Paddington Railway station so close enough into the main attractions without the hassle of noisy accomodation in the centre of London.It is also extremely quiet as it is located in a closed off street and has double glazed windows so you get a excellent night sleep.The rooms are very spacious and extremely comfortable.

"Good location"

Stayed for a week at this hotel after getting a great special on accorhotels.com. It was fairly close to Paddington station although a bit of a hike with luggage. The rooms were quite big for London and had the added advantage of a sofa bed as well as the Queen. However, having slept on the sofa bed once it is really only suitable for children as I woke with a stiff back. The major downside to this hotel is the fact that there is no free wifi in the rooms and the prices charged by the hotel were crazy. Thankfully however there is a Starbucks closeby that offers it free. The other downside was the restraunt, prices are high and the menu was very limited and didn't offer any real variety. We ate there twice out of despiration and lazyness but I wouldn't recommend it. The hotel is located within a business district so on weekdays the restraunts are open and offer fantastic food at a reasonable price. There is also a Sainsbury local within the same complex which is another alternative.On the plus side the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to assit you. Would I stay there again, yes

"Excellent stay"

We had an excellent stay at the Novotel at Paddington, staff were very friendly and helpful; rooms were spacious and clean; food very good. The only downside was that 2 of my friends stayed in a room above the station and they could hear the trains if they kept their window open.

Stayed overnight at the Paddington Novotel for a brilliant weekend. Location of the hotel was great 2minutes from paddington. Walk along the Regent Cana.l Our route on leaving was to walk a very short (5 minutes) to Little Venice where we took a pleasant boat ride to Camden Lock.The executive upgrade to the room was perfect - great coffee in your room and facilities for using/charging ipods and ipads. Breakfast (served throughout the morning at the weekend set you up for the day a brilliant buffet. Will definitely be staying there again.

"Excellent Stay booked at really short notice"

Excellent hotel near Paddington Station, I'd arrived at the Mercure Hotel Paddington to find that my room was so small that you couldn't swing an ant in it let alone a cat so I quickly booked the Novotel and walked out, Check in was really fast and the location was great and also really quiet which surprised me as I've never had a quiet hotel in London before.
