My family stayed at one of the 2 bedroom chalets and we were pleasantly surprised at the standard of accommodation and service we received. The chalet was spacious and the furnishings appeared to be new. There was so much to do within the resort and we wished we had more time to enjoy it. It is so close to Mt Buller and well worth staying here for the quality of accommodation. We would love to come back in Summer to enjoy the all the resort has to offer!
A lovely place, excellent service, clean spacious apartment. We got a great deal with excellent breakfast included, cooked to order, so yummy & catered well for our kids. Did not try restaurant for dinner (was a bit out of our price range).
Dear Guest, Thank you for your review, i am pleased you enjoyed the breakfast and had a great stay. Not sure if you were meant to only give us 2 stars but still good to read your text. Kind Regards Duncan Mars
We stayed for two nights. The location is wonderful, scenic and peaceful. We were in a one bedroom apartment which was truly perfect. Modern and stylish with all the comforts and amenities one could wish for.
We stayed a Sebel Pinnacle Valley in late August and drove out of the resort feeling like we had just received the best service we have ever experienced. Whilst the resort is set in beautiful, natural surroundings with breathtaking views of Mt Buller, the wonderful staff were imprinted on our minds. It wasnt just lip service, these people were 100% genuine in their efforts to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Also, all our meals including brekky were superb, along with drinks by the fireplace. A special mention to Ramesh who couldnt have done any more to help us, and also Brad in the ski shop who gave us some great advice. Will be back someday.

Such a luxurious place to stay, fine dining and well appointed rooms. The staff were friendly and professional and ensured that our stay was a wonderful one. The location is fabulous with exotic birds flying around and eating at the bird feeders, kangaroos bounding around on the hills include a gorgeous lake running through the property and it just makes for a million dollar view. Make sure you visit this wonderful property, you will certainly enjoy the experience.
The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort would have to be the best hotel that we have stayed in. The new renovations are just beautiful, very well done. The downstairs sitting area with the open fire was great. Every staff member was lovely and were very professional. The restaurant was great all all the food we had was very yummy. Great location for skiing at Mt Buller, we would love to come back and spend a couple more days here. Thank you, Thank you Thank you what a lovey place to stay. PS: The Ski Hire Shop was very handy and a good price.
Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I have shared this with my team and we are delighted you had such a good time. We look forward to seeing you again soon for another ski holiday. Thank you for for staying. Kind regards Duncan Mars General Manager
Took advantage of Accor red hot deal. Stayed one night in the hotel section, lovely big room, which included small kitchenette. Big comfy bed with good pillows. This resort is located on acreage, not close to town, however we enjoyed a very nice evening meal in the resort restaurant. During the week breakfast option is continental only. Check in/out quick and staff very attentive. Would be an ideal location for day trips to Mt Buller with the kitchenette making you quite self contained. A self service laundry is also available.
Dear Advantage Plus Member, Thank you for staying at The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort. I am delighted you used the members "Hot Deal" offer and had a great stay. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Regards Duncan Mars General Manager
We had a most delightful three days at the entrance to Victoria's High Country. This resort is very well set-up with a large swimming pool in natural surroundings, a tennis/basket ball court, mini golf, horse stables and an abundance of wild life. The staff were all multi-skilled and very easy to get along with. As the dinning room was closed the evening we arrived we were treated to a barbeque put on by the manager and his family.
Dear Murdoch M, Thank you for staying at The Sebel Pinnacle Valley Resort. I am delighted you enjoyed the resort and all we have to offer. Over the last week we have had a number of deer around the resort on sunset. “Amazing” I look forward to seeing you again soon. Regards Duncan Mars General Manager
We decided to stay off the mountain at Mt Buller and picked the right hotel! The staff at Grand Mercure Pinnacle Valley were so helpful with everything - including fitting us out for ski gear! We were travelling with friends so the common area was fantastic to sit and chat in front of the wood fire after a long day skiing. The kids were able to sit in our room (which is straight off the lounge) and watch movies. Request the ground floor in the hotel if travelling with friends and children so you can do this! Rooms were great and had everything you need. We will be back.

Right from arrival to departure we had a lovely time. The staff were fantastic and always ready to help. The rooms were bright, clean and everything one needed to make a pleasant stay. We had all our meals at the restaurant the Food and service was very good. The bonus is that you have a kiosk on site where you can hire your snow gear Matt gave us the right advise to be prepared for the snow.

We stayed for three nights and never got tired of the beautiful surroundings and views. Only 20 minutes to Mt Buller, a perfect base for a ski holiday. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, we will definitely be going back.

Had an awesome three-day break over Easter. The accommodation was spot-on, the location excellent and the staff exceptional. The only slight issue was that the upstairs of the chalet did warm up a lot and the heating was a bit noisy - perhaps remedied with a bit of insulation?
Dear Catherine O, Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Grand Mercure Pinnacle Valley Resort. We are so pleased you enjoyed your Easter break and found the location excellent & the staff exceptional. We appreciate the feedback regarding the heating and we look forward to welcoming you back.
The dining facility was absolutely woeful. Rest of the facility was excellent. Spacious. Large fireplaces and noise levels were low. We were very disappointed with the restaurant service. The breakfast was bad enough, but we had a resevation for 7pm for dinner. We arrived at 6.30 and had pre-dinner drinks at the bar. WEnt into the restaurant at 7 and ordered our meal, after a long wait. Lucky we got some bread to nibble on, as the main meal did not arrive for over 90 minutes. we were ready to leave, as my son andhis fiancee had gone up to Mt Buller for fun run early that morning and were so looking forward to dinner.
Dear Cheryl C, Thank you for taking the time to post your review on Grand Mercure Pinnacle Valley Resort. We are disappointed that your dining experience was unsatisfactory and we apologise for the delay in the arrival of your meals. Unfortunately, our staff were getting accustomed to the new A La Carte menu. Please do not hesitate to contact our General Manager on 03 5777 5788 should you wish to discuss further. We are pleased that you appreciated the rest of the property's facilities and would love to host you again.
