The worst arrival possible

Prior to arriving in Marrakesh, just before taking my plane, I received an official Email from ACCOR saying "We have taken note of your cancellation request". I hadn't cancel any reservation so I decided to go anyway. Lucky I made the reservation through the Accor App, because it was the Novotel that canceled my reservation supposedly because "I didn't pay"... For sure, after complaining and clearly stating that they never send me an email saying that I needed to pay before arriving at the hotel, showing that I didn't cancel but they did, even if they have my email, my phone...ect and that at least they could contact the client instead of just canceling... I had a room that was "taken from somebody else"... Way to go ! Way to go ! My friend wasn't lucky and had to book on the spot another hotel as he used another system than the App. So, unless this hotel become a bit more "customer oriented", I will not recommend it. O yes, it took 3 hours from the moment we arrived to getting the room key (except my friend that had to find another place)... Terrible experience.

Needs refurb, dirty in a lot of places, male staff in the bar/restaurant very rude and unhelpful. Would not return if you paid me.

Hotel and staff were exllwnt but even though double glazed there was too much noise coming from nearby disco on second night. Tasty and good breakfast spread. Attentive staff. Clean room

WORST HOTEL EVER

I'll briefly describe the following problems: 1- Check in - No one at the counter. We had to wait 10 minutes 2- Room - Dirty with food waste all over the floor; 3- "Fitness room" - If you can call it that. Only one treadmill and hardly any equipment. Dirty and obsolete place; 4- Breakfast - Birds in the room and literally pecking at the food. Untrained staff with a sloppy attitude; 5- Transfer - We asked reception for a transfer from Marrakech to Casablanca and received no reply until we checked out.

Friendly staff but not flexible, we wanted to change a booking that was done by mistake on the following date and they didn’t even try anything to help us. “You have paid I am sorry I can’t do anything”
