Comfortable room, good food and excellent location - perfect for a layover at Heathrow. Only complaint was that I couldn't locate the hairdryer - found out after the fact it was in the desk. A little reminder sign in the bathroom or the wardrobe would have been helpful.

My stay was wonderful. The only concern I have for a hotel with this category is the Wifi. The wifi (internet) access is very poor. I could not even retrieve my email effectively. Why offer free wifi to your accor members when it is non existent. I performed a speed test and it gave me a speed equivalent to dial up - very unhappy!

High-speed internet access is also available with a charge of £15 for 24 hours for up to three devices. My wife and I spent two separate nights here on the front and back end of a trip to Europe. It was our first Sofitel experience and based on our impressions it certainly won't be the last. All aspects of the hotel were first quality, the service first rate and the manners exhibited by the staff superb. We were especially impressed and pleased by the quality of the bathrooms - can't imagine much nicer facilities than these. The only suggestion I'd communicate is to fully understand what you get if you choose to upgrade to a "nicer room". We chose to do that on our way back and the room appeared to us to be of the exact same quality (which is very nice) with just a big empty space in the room in the corner - almost like a second bed was missing. In the end, we felt it was just bigger, and not better in any way. But, we still highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Sofitel is handy to Terminal 5 but I was a bit disappointed. The décor in my room was looking a bit jaded and I was very disappointed with the food in the restaurant. I would try another hotel next time.

We have stayed here several times because of the convenience of being in the airport, they even rent the rooms by the day if you have a long stop over which is great to have a place to have a shower, take a nap, or just relax in your own private space. This time we were there overnight so did actually sleep in the room and it was fabulous. I highly recommend upgrading to the luxury room because the room is much bigger and you get access to the executive lounge where they serve drinks and snacks so definitely worth the upgrade. Surprisingly the walls are quite thin so can hear your neighbours. I could hear his phone ringing off the hook starting at 5am and even his devices pinging but luckily we had to be up at that time too so all good but the night before the other room had a domestic going on which kept hubby awake.

Had a lovely welcome as a Le Club Gold Member, escorted to my upgraded room, welcome drink, gift in room and bottled water. Nice room with great views of aircraft taking off. Fantastic comfortable recliner chair and foot stool. Really comfortable - slept really well.

Booked here for the convenience of the location to terminal 5 and it was a excellent choice. The staff were really good. The bed was ever soooo comfortable. We didn't use the bar but we want to breakfast in the morning and it had an excellent choice. The gentleman on the egg station was a right character :-) Would stay here again.
