"Great stay at Sofitel"

We stayed here for 5 nights. Staff can't do enough for you. Spotless. Bed huge and comfy. My only negative points were the amount of sun loungers round the pool, not enough and unfortunately the building work at the front. We were on the 19th floor and were above the cranes. If you stay here within the next 18 months make sure you are on the 15th or above. It would be fair if the lower hotels rooms were discounted (I don't know if they are) because the hotel is superb and this is out of their control. Would definately recommend it, the location is perfect. On 'The Walk' where there's loads of restaurants. Happy Hour (2 hours 6pm-8pm in The Hub) worked out very reasonable.

"Would be even better if we got the room we booked...."

If arriving at 2am wasn't enough, to find out the twin room we booked wasn't available when we arrived was very diappointing. Yes we were upgraded which was lovely as the room was immaculate and fabulous. But after 18 days in hostels in Europe in bunk beds, i just wanted my own bed. We were upgraded to a room with only 1 bed, so we had to share after we had booked a twin room with 2 beds. We were told the rooms cannot be guaranteed even after payment and booking. The rooms are fabulous as are the facilities are amazing, shame about the front desk service and rooms booked not guaranteed

My only comment is that the SPA is for women only! which was shock. Fortunately the concierge was very helpful and indication a good SPA close .The food was great, the rooms very big, the view amazing. So a good hotel I would definitely recommend
