Perfect location with great dining, shopping options. Only 30 mins drive to Brisbane Entertainment Centre. Very professional and immaculately clean. I always enjoy staying at Sofitel.

Stay was OK but not at all 5 star service. The room was small in comparison to most we stay at. The staff were ok but the service was quite lacking. They seem to have no ideas about our booking details and kept us for ages whilst they actually found our booking. This hotel is very lacking compared to the other we stayed in the next couple of days. Will not be booking this hotel again.

Love staying at the Sofitel due to location. The only negative I've got is that the room wasn't serviced on the Sunday. There was also mould in the grout in the shower which I could see, doesn't look good and I'm also allergic to mould. Other than that I enjoyed my stay!!

Sofitel Brisbane Central: 3.0 out of 5 stars "A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED"

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but have to say we were disappointed as the hotel is not as good as it once was. It was the Mother's Day weekend, but this should not have detracted from us having a good time. The staff were pre-occupied with the Mother's Day setting up and we felt just an extra bother to them. Our room was upgraded (through Accor) to a back, uninterested room (no newspaper, cheap bathroom products & most everything else at a cost) and had to ask to have the room cleaned after returning at 3.30pm, after being out all day. This we don't expect from a ***** hotel. One plus though - the A la Carte meal in Thyme on Saturday night was excellent.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Brisbane Sofitel and will return in the future.It has a great location if you are travelling via the airport. The train is quick, clean and handy. From airport to central station is only 20 mins. The sofitel is situated above Central stations o only a short wlak up to teh reception area. The receptionist was quick and professional - very pleaasant manner. the reception area is a lot of marble and large.We had drinks in teh bar, though expensive as fior all aussie Sofitels, itw as a pleasant enough environment. We arrived too late for a meal in teh best restaurant but did have buffet breakfast and buffet lunch. if you have an Accor card these are graet value. The breakfast is $48 and lunch was $65. With the card two eat for that price. Both buffets are good as buffet goes. i d think $48 for breakfast although with many options, excellent eggs, was a bit steep. The lunch menu had free flow sparkiling wine, nothing flash but easy to drink. It is good value.The room was a bit of a disappointment. We have stayed in many sofitels. Yes it had the great My Bed and divine pillows. so your sleep quality is superb. Full black out curtains, 23rd floor views and two quality seats were appreciated. however, the bathroom is very average, stand in bath shower and not luxury fittings. Take away the bed and pillows I'd say it is about a good 4 star quality room. .I ahve seen / had better bathrooms in a Mercure and the room is just a typical average sized room. It is nowhere near as good as compareable rooms at the Melbourne Sofitel. Overall we were though very happy with the service, sleep quality and dining options. We will return.

Sofitel Brisbane Central: 4.0 out of 5 stars "Birthday celebration"

Last week we spent a night at the Sofitel as part of a dual birthday celebration. When I booked the room I did put in the comments the reason for our stay and when we got to our room there was a card and chocolate covered strawberries waiting - they were delicious. The room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. In the evening we ate in Thyme and chose the buffet, which was superb and I think excellent value for money. All in all a very pleasant interlude.

What a beautiful hotel. Very close promimity to the wedding we were attending and staff were very helpful with directions and cabs to the venue. Amazinging comfortable bed and breakfast the next morning a must. Will definitely stay at the Soffitel again.

Was a pleasant welcome, though they don't really speak french. The city views were to behold through the window. Meals were very appreciative and the range wonderful. Choc strawberries a real treat! Access to the Sofitel needed focus, but the convenient location very desirable. Overall, a wonderful stay!!

The Service at the Sofitel is fantastic. The Valet guys who are on the ball and even got things out of our car when we forgot to take it out and they took it up to our room. Room service were always very quick. Housekeeping were very accommodating for our special requests. The staff in the Sofitel Club lounge were more than happy to help. We had a corner suite room had everything that we would expect. Everything was quite clean, with exception to a couple of glasses. But they housekeeping sorted that out quickly. The nightly turn down service was a nice touch too.We had the breakfast in the Club lounge a few times which was a nice start to the day. The pancakes were the best. And the nightly canapes were a nice start to the evenings with a few things to nibble on and a glass of wine or two. The Bar down stairs was lovely for a few drinks after going out for dinner. Lovely cocktails and a great French box, with lots of cheeses and sweets to snack on while chatting till the early hours of the morning with friends. The location is great for a short work to anywhere in the city and not far from the Valley either. Though not the best location for the pool. As the building blocks the afternoon sun, the pool is can rather cold but the spa can solve that problem. Overall I had a great week, the service was wonderful, the room was great and all the little extras made the difference. I will definitely be returning again.

Hotel was excellent in every regards except the cost of breakfast and dinner at the mainrestaurant. $98 per head for dinner and $49 for breakfast is priced poorly. Price the restaurant correctly and maybe more pepole would be happy to use it.

The title says it all really. Early check in as requested. Great view from the 18th floor. A leisurly walk to to the mall and then the gardens. Excellent wine and food.

Out of all the Accor hotels, this one is one of the best. Great atmosphere, gorgeous rooms and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Friendly and helpful staff.Overall a brilliant stay!!

Perfect location right in the Brisbane CBD, excellent restaurant although I think I'd go for the buffet rather than a la carte next time and there will definately be a next time. Staff fantastic and always willing to assist.
