We always stay in the prestige suite and we love it. The location is amazing and the staff lovely. The only things we would love to see is some bubble bath included, more coat hangers, a wider selection of canapés during the complimentary evening drinks, and if the mini bar fridge could be wiped out because it tends to suffer from significant condensation issues resulting in large pools of water. Otherwise the hotel and suite are perfection and we have already booked our next stay.

This is a well located-property, set up for the ski season, both in terms of interior decor and design. While it doesn't have a dedicated executive lounge, it utilises the public spaces well with included canapes in the hotel cocktail lounge, a very good la carte breakfast in the hotel bistro, and meets the brand standards for Sofitel (and exceeds in many places). What takes this hotel above and beyond are the staff. Clearly those working there are committed, knowledgable, and seek out to be friendly and helpful. This is a rarity nowadays, particularly in tourist towns like Queenstown - so it was a very pleasant and welcome surprise to see that across the front desk, concierge, F&B, and housekeeping, that all the staff were excellent. Looking forward to staying again soon. (Accor Plus Diamond)

I found everything about my stay was perfect. The room was clean, the staff fantastic and helpful. Always accomodating. My massage was amazing, breakfast was delicious. There was not one thing i could fault during my stay. Every single staff member that I interacted with was wonderful and I will highly highly recomend this hotel to anyone visiting queenstown in the future.

Nice room but view was out onto a road rather than toward lake. Quirky reception decoration ... a bit OTT to some tastes perhaps.
