The living experience here is not good, frankly speaking. The carpet in the hallway smells badly, sometimes they use chlorine containing disinfectant to clean it, which only makes the smell even worse. Everything break from time to time, light bulb, wash basin drain.... Hot water supply failed three times in one month, the last time there were two consecutive fays without hot water. That's the experience.

Upon our arrival on Thursday, April 25th @ 21h in the evening, despite being assured by the agent of a 50% discount on the second room, the receipt reflected the full price. Furthermore, we encountered a lack of hot water, preventing us from taking showers. It was only after payment and our own discovery that we found out the hotel was under maintenance and unable to provide hot water. We only stayed 6 hours

Although it says available on their website, the Air conditioning was not available on all of their rooms. I’ve booked a stay, and it was a hot day in Algiers. When I asked (and I spoke to the Manager), he told me that’s the policy, that they do not turn on the AC 6 months until May. Ibis is misleading their customers: if that’s really the policy, why don’t they mention it on their booking page!? I let the Manager and his staff know that I was disappointed, so tthe Manager offered me to open my window, but then it was noisy and mosquitoes got into my room. He also offered me to refund me the night but have to leave and find another hotel at 21:00 at night. I was exhausted. It’s insane, they did not care. Misleading customers is illegal.
