Very comfortable hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and the service was excellent. The only issue, but it's not a big one, is the on the last day the cleaning lady kept knocking on the door to clean the room when I specifically told her to come back in half an hour because we are leaving. I guess it was a misunderstanding. Or advise the housekeeping not to pressure the guests beforehand re the checkout time.
I paid for 3 rooms and an early check in but one room was not ready. This is the 2nd time this has happened with Ibis. Also as an Accor member I should have received an email to check in the day before which did not happen. On arrival I was initially given 3 double rooms which should have been twins. When my 3rd room was eventually ready it was on the 12th floor and the keys did not work so I had to return to reception. The bed in the room was ok but the pillows are thin and the plug in the bath would not open so I was stood in a foot of water when having a shower. I complained to the duty manager who was very apologetic and offered the guests in my 3 rooms a free breakfast which we did not accept because of our travel arrangements. This hotel is reasonably priced but on my 2 occasions when staying with Ibis I have experienced problems and I am seriously thinking whether or not to use them again.
